Rumble in the jungle! Crazy monty RPC.

So, in madscientists "Role Play Challenge: "Will the Real Suryavarman Please Stand Up?"" the idea about 18 monties on the same map was brought up. I went through with that idea. The map that is most falvourfull for monty is full of jungle, what better then, than rainforest! 18 monties crammed into a (large) map! Random personalities are on so i suspect people's games will be quite different... There are 3 differnet versions of the save, one for prince and belove(termed noble), one for monarch-emperor and one for immortal-deity. Chose whatever is apropriate and whichever speed you feel most comfortable with. The saves are zipped. You only have to unzip this to the worldbuilder saves or for the PublicMaps folder ( either one will do ) and load it from the scenarios. We ask the participants to do, if possible, a write-up with the victory save and a description of your game ( strategies, techs researched, wars,...). All the info should be in spoiler tags ( to not disturb other people's games ). If you are looking for advice on the game it is also possible to ask in the thread.

For those wondering about the specific abouts monty, he is spiritual and agressive, so he get halfpriced barracks and temples, all meele and gunpowder units start with free combat 1 and he get no anarchy from revolts. His UU is jaguar a resourceless swordsman with 5 strength who get a free woodsman 1(woodsman 2 is usefull for running around in the jungle). His UB is a cheaper courthouse that halves the time it takes to lose the unhappines from whipping.

what do you mean when you say immortal/deity - cause i win half of immortal games, but lose all deity games...

EDIT: nevermind, i think i will just go for the monarch one

You chose whatever difficulty you find apropriate, if that is emperor you take the monarch save, if it is immortal you go with the immortal save, if it is deity you also go with the immortal save(and chose deity).

I have got to try this! Oh the human sacrifice....

Is this only for BtS?

The WB saves provided will only load in BtS. But a version for warlords or vanilla can be made easily

Be patient with me...I'm visiting relatives and like me, they live in FL. That'd be the FL getting hit by a tropical storm, and without my desktop it's a lot harder to post updates.

This sounds like fun, unfortunately I guess I have to watch this one from the sideline, my computer isn't too happy with running large maps and plenty of civs, it'd crash on me constantly. I need to get me a better one soon....

I think this thread is losing out to the other 18-Monty RPC ... It'd be nice to see some screenshots of the start.

^^The other is a lurker sport thread ( only the OP is playing ). This is one that asks for participation of other ppl. My experience is that this kind of threads has always less ppl participating ( but normally has more to read and digest )
