Eritrea is still a part of Ethiopia until 1993.

At a quick glance, here is what I noticed

Eritrea is still part of Ethiopia at this time.

Yemen needs to be divided into North and South Yemen (Yes, there was a communist Arab State)

Northern Cyprus is an occupied zone. It is not official declared independent until 1983.

Unless you have plans to put in the bantustans as separate nations, I can't see any issues with the above map. (Since you added in Abkhazia and South Ossetia in the 2008 map...:p)

Cambodia should be the same color as Vietnam. It was under Vietnamese occupation from 1978 to 1988-89

Malaysia, on the other hand, was not occupied by Thailand. :p

*squints*

*copies the map into Paint*

*zooms in*

*compares the RGB numbers of the Malaysian and Thai colours*

...Okay, I guess so, but if it was just about impossible to ascertain this in any other way then it still isn't a very good colour choice.

:p

REVIEW: MAP 01 I - 1810.01.01
Napoleon at the height of his power.

Before making any criticisms, please note that Brazil is not independent - it is the Portuguese royal family in exile.

There are probably several errors in this. If you could point them out for editing, that would be appreciated.

Some 'problem areas' that I was unsure about: whether Denmark-Norway still existed, whether Finland is part of Sweden or Russia, the US - Canada border, and certain parts of Asia. I think the Spanish Empire was still united under King Joseph, though I am not sure.
