Quicky question. I DL'd a save of an old sucession game (Ragnar for Secretary General) to compare my play (got hosed in a dog pile BTW) and it used different graphics I believe. My subsequent new games seem to be usuing this graphic, which I don't care for. Please advise me on how to reset it. If needed I can post saves this evening when I'm home. Thanks!

How masochistic!

True enough! It sounds like the new graphics were inadvertently installed into your Civilization/Art/Terrain folder when it should have been in a [Scenario]/Art/Terrain folder. You have the original terrain on the disk(s) that came with the game, so you could re-install the game and get them all back (after backing up whatever you want to save). You might, however, want to take this opportunity to customize your terrain to your own taste. Ares has made a beautiful terrain, for instance.....

That was weird! Looking at the library of terrain mods, I think the save I DL'd had me using Rhyes terrain graphics with loss of the labled resources I had installed. Old saves still looked "normal" but subsequent new games also used the modded terrain. I have Rhyes big world mod installed but not the graphics pack. Could the save ahve reset my game to load from its graphics?
I fixed it by using a back up copy of my game from my external drive (Good investment) and things are working fine now.
Since you all cajoled me to look at terrain mods packs, I'm tempted to play with one. Can anyone advise me however how to merge mods so I can play with a graphics pack yet still use a rules change mod like PS Lite.

just make a .biq which has the "Scenario Search Folders: " pointing to the folder you put the terrain in, so it looks something like this:
MyMod;MyTerrain

This will tell the mod to look in the mod folder, and then look in the folder which you have set up to include your terrain, and thus will only affect graphics :)
