I would like a game starting in the latter eras. So many games never reach old age due to drop outs and such like, so you don't get too many PBEMs where you get to mess about with advanced military units.
hi, i am interested to start a new PBEM, i prefer:
-normal map or bigger (8 players or more), WITHOUT AI
-normal speed or slower
-monarch dificulty or harder
-NO technology trading/brokering
-era ancient
of course those are only my propositions we can make discusion about this and i think i would be agree on other settings

8 or so players(may be a while before slots get filled)

No Tech trading/brokering
Monarch difficulty

1). Not everyone wants a medieval/modern starting era like you said but for example people like me prefer play from ancient era - my proposition is: let everyone vote about starting era
2). Map type - for me: Fractal, Continents
3). Victory conditions - Conquest, Domination, Space Race, Cultural
of course we can vote for every settings

I prefer play with possibility to choose a civ, but only then, when all of us will agree with it. If will be someone of us who will want to start with random civs i would like personally that, then all of us take a random civ on start.

I have no civ preference - random is fine by me. But happy for others to select civ. Can we play in time zone order so that we have a chance of quick play. I am in New York (GMT-5).
