Well I went to that movie with some friends today because some of them didn't want to see Quantam of Solace.

What an utterly horrible movie. It had no plot, it was deadly dull, the characters were poorly made, the acting was bad. We walked out of the theater half way through the movie. I got a headache. I advise everyone not to watch it. There is something evil about this movie other people with me also got headaches.

Of course I may be too late its been out a week. But yeah. Australia sucks.
 
That's Baz Luhrman for you. I won't be seeing anything that builds up such a hypey wankfest in the Australian media, just on principle if nothing else.
 
If it is that bad, do you plan on shunning those who did not wish to see Quantum of Solace?

I can't I'm at their house right now. But they both agreed that it sucked epically as well so its seems that movie's attempt at demonic possession failed on all of us.

This. I have no idea why anyone even lets that jackoff make films, he should be locked up for something, I don't care what.
 
Baz Luhrman is easily one of the most self-absorbed douchebags in the film industry.

I once tried watching his rendition of Romeo and Juliet, but alas, I felt a seizure coming on and had to stop. Whether said seizure was beset by the mindnumbing stupidity of it all, or the nausea inducing color orgy on screen, I don't know.

Doesn't surprise me that this movie sucks. I wasn't planning on seeing it anyway.
 
Anyone who wants to see thiss movie should be shot on sight. I had to watch his Romeo and Juliet movie for English once... THE HORROR!!!
 
Not even blind patriotism [if I had any] would make me watch that... thing.

Likewise. What is it with the English classes in this country and their incredibly sub-par choice of material?

You had to remind me of that, didn't you? Dear God... Romeo and Juliet was some incredibly poor cinematography. We had to watch it all as well. :cry:

Hey, don't blame me, blame obliterate. On the plus side, I did get to watch Star Wars in my English class, but only because the teacher feared me.
