Like the title says,what's your favorite civ?
 
Calabim. Something about getting ridiculous xp on my vamps appeals to my inner RPG minmaxer.
 
Amurites for me... I enjoy using them militarily, even if they aren't technically the best magically based Civilization they're easily the simplest to use. Hands down.
 
Malakim, the desert them owns

I mean sure, their UU isn't that great

Their UB isn't that great

their commerce bonus on desert isn't very good

BUT the desert them owns!
 
I really like the Amurites and the Khazad. I like Dain more as a person but play him and Valledia pretty evenly. I favor Kandros Fir with the Khazad.
 
Balseraphs.
Just. Balseraphs. Perpentach? Keelyn? Both awesome. Both killing machines. Give me clowns, and I'll give you bloodshed and mayhem galore. Good times.
 
Malakim. I like them theme wise, although they kind of suck in vanilla. FF kinda fixes that with the insanely awsome dunespeak promo.

I don't like Valledia very much as she was the one that order the assassination of, I believe, Varn Gosam's wife. So, she's kind of a jackass.

Now my favorite civ is the Infernals. If not them, then the Doviello, the Clan, Amurites (As Dain), the Calabim, and Sheaim. As you can see I'm not exactly a good civ user. :p
 
Lanun. They are a perfect fit for me mechanics-wise.
Although from a theme perspective my favourite would be Illians.

Einion Logo's wife.
 
Technically she didn't order an assassination, as the curse didn't kill Einion's wife. In fact, it did the opposite, it made her unable to die despite the extreme pain and damage to her body that she inflicted on herself because of the madness it caused. Einion is the one that killed her, although it was less murder and more taking a suffering loved one off of life support.


I don't think Valledia has anything to do with Talia Gossam. Talia killed herself after a demoness convinced her that suicide would be an easy escape from her profound guilt over her affair with Baron Duin Halfmorn.
 
Valledia is by no regards a jackass. She's nobody's hero, this is true, but she's also an extremely cunning leader.
 
I voted for the Elohim, but I love the Kuriotates just as much. I enjoy defensive builder-type play, so it really just depends on how many cities I feel like controlling. I also have a soft spot for the good guys...

Although, if the Grigori could adopt religions, they would be my number one...
 
Normaly I can't decid wich civ to play, so I just take the Elohim and play them all.
 
I really enjoy the Khazad. They are bar none my favorite video game version of dwarves, though if I ever decide to play Warhammer Online they might take a back seat.
 
I love the Clan, 'cause of all those lil' greenies runin' everywhere.
