If you experience crashes loading scenarios try to play 1 turn of your game before you try to load the scenario. So far Im unable to get that method to crash. Let me know if that works for you.

I'm using XP, SP3
It works, but if I play a random game after that and try to start a scenario it crashes.

Hmm.. loading from a save game allows you to load the scenarios, but not from a newly created game?

I tested to 1) start FFH 2) load my previously saved random game 3) load a scenario 4 voila: crash
So the conclusion is that duel erebus map and then reload is the only way it works, wierd

Hmm.. even weirder. What map type/size do you typically use (ie: when it crashes)?

I use Huge Erebus, having the same problems Demonmaster has.

Have tested some combinations and pretty much narrowed it down to Duel Erebus. Other Duel maps crashes scenario even if you save and reload the game with that save.
Doesn't work for me. I tried to load the very first one.
OK, that was the problem. Thank you, Arwon.
It crashed when I started a random game, opened the scenario tab and clicked the flag for Menagerie immediately. When this happened, I noted that it had no text for the scenario, just the HP_KEY_WHATEVER filler.
Clicking the text of another scenario gave me that scenario's text and picture like intended, and then I was able to click any flag and load that scenario just fine.

I haven't got a scenario to work yet though i've only tried the first one different ways. I guess I will try one of the others.
EDIT: The gifts of kylorin one didn't work either (with above method). I'm on windows XP Home edition SP3, 512 megs of ram (ugh).

I only did this. Started a custom game, clicked in the text and then clicked in the flag. Played the scenario with no problems. Now for the other ones! It's a shame that Civ doesn't officially support something like a campaign, kinda takes the last piece of polish FfH2 has IMO (and I don't need to say that I'm absolutely not criticizing the mod, right?)
ok, now this method didn't work when I tried to play Gift of Kylorin

Tried it, it doesn't work. I could play the first scenario, but when I tried to load the second one it crashed. Kaels method doesn't work, Arwons method neither.
