It might be helpful to know the difficulty and/or length of scenarios before embarking upon them. As a general question to the forum, presuming Joe Q. Player normally plays at Noble level (standard) how difficult would he /she find the various scenarios and how much time would they take to complete?

Example:

The Grand Menagerie

Difficulty * (out of *****)
Time: Approx 1 hour.

The Grand Menagerie

Difficulty: Are you kidding me?
Tediousness: When is that griffon going to spawn????
Time: It takes too long.

I played all scenarios on immortal, I'll try to gauge the difficulty for an average player on noble.

GM

Well, you know already.

Momus (large version)

Difficulty: 4/5, depends on luck. You need a couple of things to break right at the beginning, and from then on it's pretty straightforward.

Time: 15-20 hours.

Radiant Guard

Difficulty: 4/5. A single mistake could cost you the game, little opportunity to recover.

Time: 3 hours.

Black Tower

Difficulty: 3/5 if you have 3 civs. 2/5 if you finished the Splintered Court as well. The economy you can get with Lanun cities is unmatched by the Sheaim, and with the right choice of religion and understanding of how to work around the limitations of the setting (no healing, etc.) the military part is pretty simple as well.

Time: 8 hours.

Gift of Kylorin

Difficulty: 1/5, since you'll have to reload a couple of times anyway. It's tough to beat without ever dying, but that's not the point of the scenario.

Time:1.5 hours if you don't waste time chasing down every last monster.

The Fall of Cuantine

Difficulty: 3/5. I found the opponent at the end of the scenario easily overmatched by just Rosier, a confessor and a single axeman. Slightly dissapointing.

Time: 3 hours.

Into the Desert (Calabim)

Difficulty: 2/5. The first vampire attaches Decius and becomes a monster. It's very easy to get a tech lead (floodplain cottages FTW) and fighting vampires against tier 2 units for the entire game. The only difficulty is understanding the objectives and keeping your patience (see page 5 of the feedback thread).

Time: 7 hours.

i beat GM in 30 minutes. Splintered court i found to be pretty easy, i don't usually do well on noble but i stayed on top the whole game (probably a 2/5). Gifts of Kylorin took me a couple times, but mostly because of bad luck (dying at 90%+ chances). I've started Momus, and it's kind of confusing. That one'll take me a while for sure. The only other one i've started is barbarian assault, and my armies keep getting raped, then i build another army and rape them, but then that one gets raped, then i build a new one... etc. Turn 350, me, einion, and dain vs the purger and sheelba, but dain sucks and will probably die soon. I had all but 2 cities taken once, but i managed to take them all back.
