Hi.
As said in another post i enjoy very much the new civics, since they complete many ancient empires... i was tired to see that ancient roman republic ruled by senate was considered "tribal" with "barbrism" justice... :D

Anyway i have a couple of suggestions...wich you can or not add in next release ;) i just say my ideas.

Now...straight to the point. GOVERNMENT

[1]Government civics are only about government. Right? So no economics, nor society inside government choices.

[2]When you chose a government system, there should be no "question marks" about it. Democracy is democracy. Monarchy is monarchy.

Fascism and Communism civics are not satisfyng those 2 points.
If u read in sevopedia about fascism and communism, and compare with federalsim or the others you see:

a- communism doesn't define a government type (can be republic, as China or autocrat such as Stalin's Soviet Rep.). This doesn't satisfy point [2] since there is no way to define the exact government type with the other categories

b-both communism and fascism deal with economics and society: Communism doesn't admit private propriety and corporations. Fascism is defined as nationalist society. They shouldn't be under "Government" choice. This doesn't satisfy point [1]: you can create
Government:Communist ---- Economy: free market (with bonuses on corps?)
Government:Fascist ---- Society: Liberal/marxist (wasn't nationalist? this is contraddictory)

Oh...and... more objectivity. If you say communism is based on social equality (so... defining that civic as ALWAYS equal) you can't cite Stalin. :mischief:

So... what do I suggest?Only an example...
Government:
-cancel: fascist and communist
-add: Modern totalitarism (+ production like both F.ism and C.ism , - culture due to propaganda like F.ism, + espionage like C.ism, and so on)
-add: something else...

Economy:
-cancel: something
-add: State property (wich correctly eliminates corps... + production - money like C.ism and wathever)

The new system allows more precise simulation, according to points [1] and [2]

So... Fascism would be
Gov=modern totalitarism Soc:Nationalism Eco:Mercantilism

China would be a Republic and Stalin's Soviet Rep. a modern totalitarism. Both with Statal property. PERHAPS marxist society...(?)

This wasn't mean to be a political thread, just suggestions for a more accurate model of simulation. Without some contraddictions. Hope you appreciate. :)
