My Mark Antony LH is finally done, based on James Purefoy's depiction of him in Rome. So now you can finally kick the ass of that brat Augustus Caesar and hang out with cleopatra afterwards ;).

Enjoy and let me know what you think,

I really like that, and besides the uniform could be used for Republican-era Rome as well. Like Scipio Africanus or Cincinatus.

EDIT: Now someone can make a Roman civil war scenario/Rise of Augustus scenario. You could have Antony rule the east, with Egypt (under Cleo) as a Vassal/Permenant ally. I think that'd be a fun scenario to play.

Have you tought about giving this LH another outfit? Would be a cheap way to get other leaders.

For example making an english LH out of him wouldn't be difficult:

Or in this outfit, he could be used in Colonization perhaps:

(Btw, this is meant only half serious. ;) )

The english man he played in "A Knight's Tale" with Heath Ledger. I would be surprised, if you haven't seen the movie. Purefoy played Edward, the Black Prince of Wales, a quite minor role. If you really haven't seen Knight's Tale: It's not a bad film. You are not suppossed to watch it as a historical film, because it is absolutly historical incorrect, especially Edward was historical correct. But the movie was quite amusing, if you leave your brain somewhere else.

The pirate... He didn't played a pirate, he played the pirate, the one and only Edward Teach. The title of the film was "Blackbeard: Terror at Sea", a TV production and somewhat of a B-Movie. But for a TV production is wasn't that bad. I won't pay money to buy the DVD, but if it is on TV again, and there is not blockbuster on another program, I would what the film again. I think Purefoy played Teach quite well and somewhat influenced my oppion, how a pirate have to be. :)

His portrayal of Antony was pretty good too in Rome... he displayed a special type of Romanitas... definitely my favorite character in that series.

Maybe we could use this guy as Scipio Africanus?
