wolfrevolutions scenario compatiability

Hey guys! I have just downloaded the wolfrevolutions mod and would want to run it through the Earth 18 civs scenario. But when everytime i launch a scenario through the wolfrevolutions mod, the game crashes! I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to launch a scenario in this mod. Thanks again
 
the reason it crashes is because wolfrevolution is setup to have (I think) 34 civs. In the scenario file there is only 18. You could add empty civs to the scenario, or perhaps search the forums for scenario's built for that mod, or compatible mods (ones that have the same civs, leaders, and max amount of players).
 
It's 50 civs in the .dll, and yeah, that's why it crashes. Also most scenarios will be mod specific, and/or be saved games, which means they are incompatible with mods that add or take away units, civs, buildings etc.

I asked JEELEN for a scenario for WolfRev, but he's probably too busy with the other scenarios he works on. I wish I could help you, but I don't know of any Scenarios WolfRev compatible, and my focus is on other aspects of modding, so I wol't be making any scenarios for it myself (modding is a hobby you know).

I'd be happy if any scenario/map makers out there made a scenario or two for WolfRev. If does I'll add them to the main WolfRev download, in the maps folder of the mod, so everyone that plays WolfRev automatically gets them.

hey thanks bro, but could you tell me how to import the Europe of Earth map to the wolfrevolutions mod?
 
Take the map (it must be a blank map, if it has been made into a scenario with preplaced civs and stuff, it'll not be compatible with WolfRev--unless built using wolRev) and place the file in the Public Maps folder of the WolfRevolution mod, then you can load it up, by selecting "Load Scenario", or something like that, from the WolfRev intro screen. Been a while since I've loaded a map up, but it's pretty intuitive, these directions, while not being "exact" are a general guidline of how to use a blank map in a mod (any mod, just substitute WolfRevolution folder for the name of the mod).
 
There was a modcomp that caused long lived barb cities to spin off as new civilizations. As I understand it, it has been rolled up into WolfRev. Does it exist by itself anywhere?

Hey fungus, I have followed your advice and put "Europe" (the pre-made map that comes with the game) into the wolfrevolutions' map folder. There are no preselected civilizations when im at the info screen before launch. But whenever i press the launch button the game crashes. I also see that the "europe" map is a world builder file.

1. please tell me if I have misread your directions and correct me if i have done so
2. if it has something to do with the world builder file, could you give me some tips to convert the world builder file to a plain pre-made map compatiable with wolfrevolutions.
3. im desparate to play europe on wolfrevolutions! thanks fungus!
