This is a very detailed middle east scenario. In this new version I cut dramatically the number of starting units to make the game playable. I also added a new civ: Hezbollah.

Wow, that's a lot of cities. Is this scenario all by you osman700? It seams you have put a good deal of work into it.

Scenarios with a lot of detail however, should probably have a detailed thread introducing them! What is detailed? What are the victory conditions? Who are the civs? Who is powerful? What makes them powerful? Are the U.S. and/or other off-map countries incorporated? What does the tech tree look like? the unit lineup? That sort of thing. :)

Yes, it's all by me.

I first created this scenario at mid 2006. The idea was to create a map of the middle east that will look very close to the real map - especially borders. In the previous version there were lots of units so the waiting time for the computer's turn was too long. Recently I made a few changes to the game to make it more playable. It still takes about 5 minutes to LOAD the scenario.

I did not make any changes to graphics, so the modern era units of civ3 are used.

All leader names are relevant to june 1991.

The game is played 257 turns.

Civilizations:

Egypt
Syria*
Iraq*
Saudi Arabia
Jordan
Lebanon
Israel*
Kuwait
Turkey
Iran*
Palestine
Armenia
Kurdistan
Hezbollah

* Has Uranium resource and nuclear weapons.

Any new units in this mod, or are they all base game units?

Nvm my entire post, it would be best to delete it. I went over the second post, but totally overlooked, "I did not make any changes to graphics, so the modern era units of civ3 are used."

I need some sleep.

Is this supposed to be the Persian Gulf War minus the US?
