i think the middle east in general has been very much dissapointing, one leader for the "arabian Empire" which actually should be called Arab Empire, since Arabian means the arabian peninsula, while arab means the arab world including Saladin's leadership, also the leaders need to be more, for a start, the Sultana Shajaret El Dur, was one of the most successfull Leaders of the Arab Empire, and "SHE" is the one who ruled during the golden age of the mamluks dynasty, lus the Haram in mecca is wrong, the structure is actually the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, while the Ka'aba s a blac cube in Mecca, the holiest to Muslims.
as for Persians, their golden Age i agree was pre-Islamic persia, but they were still as great as anyone else during the Khawarezmi Dynasty, which they ruled Iran, and most of central asia, with Great cities such as Tabriz, Urgench, Merv, Samarqand, Qom, Shiraz, Esfahan, Nishapure, Ghazni, Khujand, and Jind in Kazahstan. as for the leader i would advise you, (me being an Arab Midde Easter, and well aware of the region) to include Muhammad I Al-Khwarazmi, the ruler of the greatest Medieval Persan Dynasty..
hope i was helpfull..
but i have to admit, Persia in particular needs more attention.
