Vanilla Civ4 Google Civilization

Quote:
As I mentioned before I am currently creating a working layer for Google Earth of Civilization, that is, a layer that plots the 'capitals', world wonders and projects, and total expansion of each nation that was ever used in any Civilization game. In each I plan to add a brief history of each and taylor viewpoints for each to look cool and to give prespective of the territory once owned by the civs. For the hell of it, I've also added the first colonies of America in Colonization.
I've currently got all the capitals, except for the Zulu, I can't find the city Zimbabwe, so I've cueently plotted on Ulundi, and am currently searching for the wonders; Hermitage and Notre Dame, as well as finding the wonders of Civilization I and II not already added. The expansion polygons are almost complete and history has been added to the first few cities. What I want to know is, apart from what is already in the layer, what other Civilization related information would you like to be added?

Also, answer my question in my signature, and you can get a sneaky peek at what the layer may look like, in a series of pictures. Winner has to tell me they're favorite civ.
So much for the question! But I can now say, with the completion of the Iroquois history and finding the 'capital', I've finished all the original 36 civ layers of the project. I had to join the Google Earth forums in order to release the KML's publicly, so after updating the Iroquois, the first version of my GoogleCiv layers is complete. As I said before I've added TWO easter eggs, one was the first colonies and tribes in Civ4Col, I ought to say that Tiiis Tseba is missing, I haven't found it yet, but the second, you'll just have to see. I think you'll enjoy it. Anyway, I tried to update any new information from the GE forums with no responce, so I'd greatfully appreciate any feedback and any inaccuracies I've made so I can get each layer as correct as possible. The link is in my sig, but I'll provide it here; GoogleCiv - Google Earth Civilization
I hope you enjoy the layers, I certainly do!

It'd be cool if you overlayed google earth with historical maps of all the empires at maximum extent.

Notre Dame is in Paris, if I recall correctly. The Hermitage looks to be a generic nation wonder, like an Art Gallery.

Was there even an expansion to the first Civ game? I haven't the foggiest idea. It's probably a Civ like Portugal that was officially made for Civ3 and Civ4, but only made it in expansion packs. Austria and the Hittites didn't make it into Civ4.

Technically, the only Civ1 expansions were CivNet (multiplayer Civ1 that I think failed) and Colonization1.

To answer the OP it'd have to be Hittites and Austria. Technically, some of those lesser South American tribes from the Civ3C didn't make it either. And we got the Native Americans lumped into one---no more Sioux/Iroquois.

Notre Dame is in Paris, and Hermitage is in Saint Petersbourg, and is one of the largest museum in the world, comparable to the Louvres in Paris or the MET in New York.

It should also be noted that Zimbabwe was not Zulu...

I tend to think of hermitages as Salons, like this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%B4tel_de_Rambouillet .

But anyways the St. Petersburg one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermitage_Museum

Not in this form. You can try Euratlas for maps of Europe at every century.

I have a book by the same name that does not seem affiliated with that website. I have not seen any major inaccuracies in it, but then I don't know enough to see them.

Author is UK historian John Haywood. Covers all history from 4 million BC to 1999 AD.

Thanks everyone for the help, now I have to find the Civ I and II wonders in case I need to add more. For the map suggestion, I've got some polygons marking the maximum extent over the current Earth already, but I suppose adding maps of the time would rule more and get it exact, I'll consider it. I should also point out, I'm the Native Americans into Sioux and Iroquois, it seems logical enough.
Everyones's right, neither Austria nor the Hittites were added in Civilization IV, they were both civilizations add in Conquests (Civilization 3), but the answer I was after was the Hittite, simply because Austria is not a default civilization in Conquests either, just an easter egg in the editor. Therefore, the winner is Truronian.
What civ do you enjoy playing as?

It's missing certain organized states, and is years off for some events.

Thanks, Steph!! I'll check it out, sounds really nice.

Are you talking about the book or that program?

The book is quite thorough, I'd be surprised if it was missing any indication of a state level society in any part of the world. Similarly, there are so many dates that you'd think that getting several wrong would cause huge inconsistencies.

The program. Apparently there is somebody else to confirm the errors.
