Would anyone be interested in helping me create a Balkan wars (1912-1913) scenario?

I am not good at creating scenarios, so i would rather leave that part to someone else. However i am willing to provide graphics for it, buildings, cities etc Wyrmshadow has made some great units of the era, and there are some more we could use.

Hm, probably a small one, an edited version of the one used in Yoda's byzantine scenario might work

My time is suddenly very tight, but I think I have an OOB ("Order Of Battle") for those conflicts if that would prove helpful.

Best,

Oz

Order of Battle? Is that a list of the battles that took place?

I really need someone who would do all the editor work. Of course it will be his scenario, i am merely helping with gfx and ideas

No, my dear fellow "OOB" is a list of the military units involved in any particular conflict.

Best,

Oz

I could help but I don't have enough time to do the stuff with the editor but other than that, I can help in any way (apart from gfx as well).

*ahem* See my posts above. Again, I am very time constrained, but I can provide OOB, plus leader names, help with the tech tree, maybe kicking the tires.

IMO (Map + OOB + Units + gfx) = (Scenario/Mod v1.0)

What other sort of help do you seek, my friend?

Best,

Oz

Thank you

Well i am lazy, i am looking for the sort of help that would be along the lines of someone willing to do the entire scenario and only need ideas and gfx

I realise that this is very difficult to achieve though

Do you at least have a map which can be readily modified?

I can modify Yoda's map, in his scenario about the Byzantine empire. We dont need Italy, but perhaps more of the north can be added so as to have more of Romania We dont need Egypt either. The levant could be represented with one city that produces units, since in the first Balkan war the state of the ottoman railways was primitive and so they thought that they could transport troops from the rest of the empire by the sea, but the greek navy was stronger than the ottoman one so that attempt failed as well.
An idea i had back when i was trying to make the scenario on my own was that the ottoman empire could be split into two nations, the european ottoman empire (Thessalonike as the capital) and the rest + parts of eastern thrace. In this way the balkan league can be in locked war with the european ottoman empire, but not with the rest of it, so that a peace can be achieved with them.

Okay, I'll take a look at Yoda's map; try to find the info I have on those wars; mull over ideas (yours about splitting the Ottomans is interesting) including a tech tree - I presume we're talking about one Era?

Yours In Crime ,

Oz

Thank you Ozymandias

Perhaps there could be two eras, the first era being the first balkan war, and then the second.

The map could be like this, with perhaps some more sea to the east so that the city or cities in the Levant can be placed

I think that would have to be 2 different scenarios - Oops! Sorry. Must run. More later.

The Ottoman-Italian war was going on in 1912 as well. I will have to read up more on these conflicts Although i guess that the italians could still be left out. There was also an albanian revolution. Albania became a country officially in 1913, due to the intervention of Austria-Hungary and Italy.

Then the map shall have to encompass the area shown.

Best,

Oz

It would be tricky the keep Italy from attacking the balkan nations though.

The Bulgarian army seems to have been quite "puissant" to borrow the medieval term. I'll look further into the OOB etc. but I suspect a hypothetical Italo-Bulagarian clash would give the Italians a run for their lire.

Best,

Oz
