Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.

Version: 1.74.003, 2.13.003 or 3.17.001
Date: 10th April to 10th May 2009

Must not play as Inca.

The highest score wins. (Any victory condition will do.)

Not on these settings though.

Time to get milking I suppose. Might try some praetorian love for this one.

Praetorians might be good, but I think a good UB could have more use (shaka comes to mind, or even charlie)

I have started a game as ahmmourabi, but had to dump it. I wanted to heal my troops in friendly land, and miscliked on the "gift button".
my CR3 combat 2 swords, catapults, axemen gone :cry:

I don't see how charlie or shaka can come close to julius or darius... Killer UU's are still killer even on prince. Organized obviously help as well...

Well, you will want to grow. And mostly (especially on prince and below) the big factor won't be your ability to kill your neighbours (which should be easy enough), but to keep your new acquisitions.
ikhanda, and rathaus sound good to me.
Of course the roman forum also has its use, but the cost is higher and the benefit lesser IMHO.
+ I need a good game with shaka and Charlie

If you are crashing your economy you are doing something wrong

(running on negative at 0% is of course fine, but you shouldn't run out of gold / stop teching). Sure maitenance reduction is nice but it doesn't really match up to a killer UU + organized.

You do. Just use the Gauntlet setting and otherwise follow the HOF Rules.

The only non-organised leader I would consider is Sury for the +1 food UB but the lack of a killer UU make him not so great. I'll only have one shot at this (is a long game) so will play Julius.

Darius I isn't bad either being org/fin and comes with both a handy UU and UB. I'll also only have one shot on this very long game (I'm really glad staff have modified crash policy

) If think I prefer Fin before Imp so I will play Darius

I'm giving this a whirl with Tokugawa. This one will help me in lots of EQ categories. Except that darn Fractal! Figures. My only other Prince EQ win is on Fractal.

Anyhow, I'm not shooting for anyhing special. Had no Japan victories. And, I have a very low level domination win, and no time wins. So, I'm shooting for one of those two, however long it takes.

He's not the worst choice, to do some warmongering, anyhow.
