Help ME. need to permanantly edit C3C

In a place.
I want to add 2 new units to the main C3C interface so that they are there in every new game started. I edited pediaicons and civilpedia and then added them in conquests.biq but it won't work exept when i play it as a scenerio.
 
Does no one know how to do this?
 
I don't think so, you don't mean to uncheck read-only, if not how do I do this?
 
Just saying again cause this thread keeps getting buried under others.
 
The rules have been saved to conquests.biq correctly and that was the one in the main conquests folder?
 
well, I have the Complete version and it was.....wait, hold on, I will try to save it to virtural store, didn't try that yet.
 
It worked, Yay, I am happy.
 
Wait, I can't load games now, it tells me "DataIO operating system error: UNIT" and "DataIO operating system error: IDLS"
