Welcome to our next RPC game, DeGaulle's League. These games are meant to be educational and fun as well as a unique twist on our beloved leaders>

Here we have The last French Leader DeGaulle on an archeopolego Map. There are not many rules in this game but a general philosophy and victory condition.

DeGaulle is a great believer in Liberty and Independence! All the world needs to have one "Great World Government" lead by one leader (DeGaulle of course). He is also a believer in taking proper care on the people, however sometimes !

So let's see what we have here

Map

A large Acheopolego Map (Large for more lands as your will see)
Monarch difficulty at Marathon speed.
Normal all else

Rules:
1) DeGaulle can only have a small core of cities, maybe 8-12 and preferably on the same land mass. We may have at certain times though either through war or settlement.
2) We should agressively settle islands and spawn off as many colonies as possible.
3) The following civics are off limits as they are a blight against Humanity: Hereditary Rule (Degaulle has NO king), Police State, Slavery. All others are OK.
4) DeGaulle must gift the following techs to all leaders once obtained: Liberalism/Constitution/Democracy
5) DeGaulle has NO limits on war.
6) We cannot ever vassal a leader. We can destroy them and spawn off the cities as a colony though.
7) UN: Must be beelined and should be built by DeGaulle. We can never vote "NO" to any resolutions. We can ONLY win via a UN vote.

So our Magnificent Leader

Get Fishing OR Animal Husbanary ASAP, then probably Bronze Working to clear up the land.

I agree with you Mad. Also, Don't forget to make a 'Strike Force' against dudes almost winning before you. :)

Fishing-->BW-->Mysticism for Henge-->Sailing for GLH. All of those forests can be chopped for Stonehenge/GLH.

Not at all. At certain times through war or settlement. That does not cause a contradiction but rather an exception.

This sounds like a fun one, but why didn't you outlaw Theocracy? That's not exactly a very democratic/libertarian civic.

does rule 1 and 2 controdict each other?

No. Rule 1 is for core cities that I will optimize for teh French empire while additional cities are for immediate benefits ubtil they can be spun off. Rule 2 is there to establish alot of colonies.

in rule 4 do you mean you will gift them the tech as soon as they could research it or will you gift them all the other techs they need as well?

I would as UWHabs says think about mining the pigs, you are a bit low on hammers once you clear the forests in that location

Is there a way to play the save on a different difficulty/speed?

Load the game as normal, then enter world builder and save it as a world build game. Load tha game as a scenario and you will have the options to change speed and difficulty. Warning, this way you also get a peak at the other leaders in the game, I suggest focusing your vision on the top name which should be DeGaulle.

PS:

Welcome to the Forums and my RPCs!

Theocracy is strictly a warring civic which is fine here.

I have to gift those three techs once the AI can accept them. Whether I gift/trade the prerequisite techs is a game decision.

I did that in the Isabella game. He keeps coming back :(

I got stuck alone on a continent with Shaka and Monty this weekend. I was Bismarck and I didnt make it.

What you should to is play Vicky and WB in 6 Shakas.

Gods this is really inappropriate but the only name that pops in my head for that RPC is "Where all the white women at?" (as said by Cleavon Little in Blazing Saddles.)

Yeah I'm getting banned now.
