One thing I feel is missing is some sort of ordersystem for automated units. (workers and Corporate Executives mainly).

What id like is for workers:
Priority for improvement on tile
Building for resource (Mine for iron, farm for corn and likes)
If terrain hill make mine (or select Windmill, or no preference)
If terrain Grass make farm (or other improvements selected or no preference)
(and for the advanced part of it)
If terrain Grass no water make cottage (or workshop or no preference)
(ill skip the rest of terrains, think you all got the point)

for the executives,
it would be something like
Spread corporation in Only your empire, only opponents empires, both your and opponents empires.
Would make it so if i only want Sids sushi in my territory, they will only put it there if automated, and on the same, if i automate a cereal, he would if sett to it, only spread the corporation to the others, not to my territory.

would save some micromanagement. ;) what do you all think?
(sorry if this have been suggested before)

I suppose it could. I don't use unit automation, so I don't know, but I thought that it did a reasonably good job as it is.

I usually play huge maps on epic timesetting. so for me to have a few groups automated would be wery nice, but when I see what the AIs have for improvements, it realy keeps me from automation.. ;)

yea i got the point. but what if you have 30 different terrain types?
a simpler solution would be to set values to base prod entities (hammer, food, gold) + others if you want the ai to answer questions such as "what's better +2 food or +20% science" in city X.

in other words:
i (or you!) in some civ window set the Wx (food value), Wy (hammer value), Wz (gold value).
let's say some tile produces X food, Y hammers, and Z gold.

so the value of the tile is X * Wx + Y * Wy + Z *Wz.

now we build a mine (+3 hammers) that would increase the tile value by 3 * Wy.
if we build a wind mill (+1 food, +1 gold (i maybe wrong)) that would increase tile value by 1 * Wx + 1 * Wz.

so if you want auto workers build mines on hills set 3Wy > Wx + Wz.

there will be some complications (with forested hills, for example or for a different type example: every city might have their own values for things to represent different stages in the development cycle(like the wording, but the meaning is vague)).

it would help the auto workers and the ai city planner in deciding what tiles to work or/and what tiles to improve with what.

feel free to ask questions. they might actually be answered.
