Since i obviously forgot the alphabet, this is the first Ethnic Militia units pack. There are 11 units.

Nice, I like the Industrial rifleman. How is the hat attached on the medieval swordmen? If I can remove it easily, reskinned it would be nice in the Dune mod

The Medieval militia on the left look like Yari Ashigaru. If so, I like what you've done with it. Very nice work (even if I'm wrong as to what they are)...and of course, very nice work on all the rest of them. The modern ones look terrific...I like the idea of salarymen taking up arms to defend their country. :D

I have absolutely no idea what a Yari Ashigaru is. As for the modern ones, they were kinda based on this pic:

The Yari is a kind of spear, and Ashigaru means that the individual wielding it is an untrained, undisciplined peasant.

As opposed to Yari Samurai, where the spear is wielded by professional soldiers.

Of course, the leftmost one is wielding a halberd, not a sword. Technically, the one in the middle would resemble a peasant spearman...but it's not entirely accurate either. Frankly, I think the one on the left looks the best.
 
Sorry bout the massive delay with the African Militia. It's just that I'm nearing the end of the semester, so i kind of have other priorities. That being said, i've finished about half of them and hope to finish the rest soon.
 
Hello look forward to your African stuff, it was the first thing I mucked around with when I started fiddling with this game.
I really appreciate your art and it has been very useful - the office people with RPG/AK-47 are my favourites, prompting thoughts about how to use them . . . I also liked the rake - wielding peasants.
 
The rifleman is a mess his arms are not in the right place. Any chance of a fix?

no I had the wrong kfm instead of rifleman I was using redcoat.
 
Just saw this thread, love the units!!! The RPG troopers made me lulz :)

Could it be that they were American postal workers at one point? ;)
