Weird font upon clean install...
Ok I'm stumped on this one. I just refomatted my hard drive so everything in clean and new. But when I reinstalled Civ 4 and Beyond the sword, patched them up to the version that was just released, I get this weird-ass font now. I did the SAME exact thing on my girlfriend's computer (nuked and reinstalled), and it looks fine. What the hell went wrong and how do I fix it?

Ok update:
I reinstalled, checking each time along the way to see where the problem is happening. I'm installing Civ 4, patching to 1.54 then to 1.61 (another whole problem with me having Civ Chronicles and Beyond the Sword can't patch correctly until 1.61). Everything is fine. I then install BtS...and now I go into it, and the font is screwy. This is in version 3.00. I don't understand how this is happening given the fact that I used the SAME exact discs and method when putting it on my girlfriend's comp not 15 mins earlier. I even tried copying everything in the "fonts" folder of the Civ 4 directory into the same folder in the BtS "fonts" folder. No luck. I'm really out of idea. Need help badly. |

Ok nevermind. I tried using my girlfriend's disc 1 of BtS...and it worked. Guess my disc 1 is finally just too scratched up. A shame.
