Where can I downloand the latest version for BtS 3.17? (not 3.19!)

Hello. I have BtS 3.17 and FfH2 0.33 (Aug 08) and I want to update FfH2, but I do NOT want to patch BtS to 3.19.

I believe that FfH2 0.40 (Dec 08) is the latest version for Bts 3.17, is that right? Where can I download it?

The only version I could find for download is FfH2 0.41, but I don't want it, because it requires BtS 3.19.

Isn't it 0.41 patch b that convert 0.41 to 3.19. 0.41 by itself is 3.17 (even patch a) or?

Correct. Version 0.41 or 0.41 + patch A will work with Civ4 3.17. Version 0.41 has some serious problems which are corrected by Patch A, but unfortunately patch A is no longer supported so you may have trouble finding it.

Even if you do track down a copy of it, you might want to reconsider using it. You won't be able to take advantage of bug fixes from new patches since those will require Civ4 3.19. Unless for some reason you simply refuse to upgrade to 3.19, I would recommend upgrading so that you can use the latest FfH2 patches.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies. I've installed 0.41+patch A and it works fine with BtS 3.17.

Kael's download instructions (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=171398) are somewhat misleading because they say that "Version 0.41 requires Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword patch 3.19 or greater". In fact, if I understand you correctly, only patch B requires 3.19.

To Emptiness: thanks for the clarification, I will not install patch B then. (I don't want to update BtS to 3.19 yet because I have a lot of saved games and mods that would not work with the new patch).
