In the new patch there already is Alexander included.

Furthermore, I have been playing with some extra leaders to see how they look.
I've been thinking that Spain, Japan and Arabia really need a 2nd leader (Japan especially).
I've come to the conclusion that among them, I am quite satisfied with Philip II (I changed the background) and Meiji (retouched facial hair and mouth). Instead, I couldn't find a decent Abu Bakr (even after edits).

On the other hand, there a good Ethiopian leaderhead available (Haile Selassie, but could act as Menelik as well) and some good WW2 (Hitler, Lenin, Hirohito) that would better fit an optional pack, since Germany and Russia don't really need another leader.

I'm looking forward to know what you think of all this, and of the screenshot below.
If these two are enough good for you for RFC (I recall that someone disliked the original Meiji), I'll write English and Italian pedia and post them here, so that some of you can do the French, Spanish and German translation (as you see, more leaders=more pedia work)

EDIT: Philip's pedia here:

Philip II[\H1][NEWLINE][BOLD]King of Spain[\BOLD][NEWLINE][BOLD]Lived:[\BOLD] 1527 - 1598 AD[NEWLINE][PARAGRAPH:2][BOLD]Background:[\BOLD][PARAGRAPH:1] Philip II of Spain was the son of Charles I of Spain and his consort Isabella of Portugal. During his reign, Spain reached the height of its influence and power, directing explorations all around the world and settling the colonization of territories in all the known continents. [PARAGRAPH:1] In the sixteenth century, Spain saw a fivefold increase in prices. Increasingly the country became dependent on the revenues flowing in from the mercantile empire in the Americas, leading to Spain's first bankruptcy in 1557 due to rising military costs. Dependence on sales taxes from Castile and the Netherlands was too narrow to support Philip's plans. Philip became increasingly dependent on loans from foreign bankers, particularly in Genoa and Augsburg. [PARAGRAPH:1]Philip's foreign policies were determined by a combination of Catholic fervour and dynastic self-interest. He considered himself by default the chief defender of Catholic Europe, both against the Ottoman Turks and against the forces of the Protestant Reformation. He preferred to fight on every front at whatever cost rather than countenance freedom of worship within his territories. [PARAGRAPH:1] Philip's father arranged his marriage to Queen Mary I of England. Under the terms of the marriage treaty, Philip was to enjoy Mary I's titles and honours for as long as their marriage should last. All official documents were to be dated with both their names, and Parliament was to be called under the joint authority of the couple. However, they had no children; Queen Mary I died in 1558 before the union could revitalize the Roman Catholic Church in England. With her death, Philip lost his rights to the English throne and ceased being King of England and Ireland. [PARAGRAPH:1] Upon Mary's death, the throne went to Elizabeth I. Unfortunately, she allied England with the Protestant rebels in the Netherlands. Further, English ships began a policy of piracy against Spanish trade and threatened to plunder the great Spanish treasure ships coming from the new world. The execution of Mary, Queen of Scots in 1587 ended Philip's hopes of placing a Catholic on the English throne. He turned instead to more direct plans to invade England: in 1588, he sent a fleet, the Armada Invencible, across the English Channel. After a tightly fought battle against the English navy, the Spanish were forced into a disastrous retreat. </English>

Meiji's:

Meiji[\H1][NEWLINE][BOLD]Emperor of Japan[\BOLD][NEWLINE][BOLD]Lived:[\BOLD] 1852 - 1912 AD[NEWLINE][PARAGRAPH:2][BOLD]Background:[\BOLD][PARAGRAPH:1] Mutsuhito, also called the Meiji Emperor, was the 122nd emperor of Japan. At the time of his birth in 1852, Japan was an isolated, pre-industrial, feudal country dominated by the Tokugawa Shogunate and the daimyo, who ruled over the country's more than 250 decentralized domains. By the time of his death in 1912, Japan had undergone a political, social, and industrial revolution at home and emerged as one of the great powers on the world stage. [PARAGRAPH:1] He was born eight months before the arrival of Commodore Matthew Calbraith Perry and the United States squadron of "Black Ships" in Edo Bay and two years before the first of the unequal treaties which the Tokugawa shogunate signed with Perry. Crown Prince Mutsuhito acceded to the throne on 3 February 1867 at the age of fourteen. In the ninth month of the following year, the era was changed to Meiji, or “enlightened rule”, which was later used for the emperor's posthumous name. This marked the beginning of the custom of an era coinciding with an emperor's reign, and posthumously naming the emperor after the era during which he ruled. [PARAGRAPH:1] The Meiji emperor was the symbolic leader of the Meiji Restoration, in which the Tokugawa shogunate was abolished by Imperial forces. The Charter Oath, a five-point statement of the nature of the new government, abolished feudalism and proclaimed a modern democratic government for Japan. The Meiji Restoration is a source of pride for the Japanese, as it and the accompanying industrialization allowed Japan to become the preeminent power in the Pacific and a major player in the world within a generation. [PARAGRAPH:1] Following the victory in the First Sino-Japanese War, there was a shift in regional dominance in East Asia from China to Japan and a fatal blow to the Qing Dynasty and the Chinese classical tradition. In 1902, Japan formed an alliance with Britain. However, the prospect of Korea falling under Russia's domination was one of the deciding factors that would lead to the Russo-Japanese war of 1904–05.</English>

Using the Meiji Emperor for the second leaderhead of Japan is brilliant. He and Tokugawa express the two sides of Japan and its history. Also I like how you have him wearing his European style royal dress, makes it feel more like the Meiji Restoration.

Meiji should be coded as a rather aggressive leader with Mansa Musa-ish tech trading tendencies.

And they are good enough for me.

Maybe focussing on civs with only one LH will be a good start.

Franco (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=5927) for Spain would be nice to, the LH is of good quality, but not of Rhye-esque quality. Still I think a more recent Spanish LH would be better becauce Isabella and Philip II are more same era leaders.

Voor the Dutch:

as queen Wilhelmina ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wilhelmina1898.jpg )

Haile Selassie would be very nice

Idi Amin ( http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=8829 ) as Moussa Traoré for Mali might be nice

Rhye, those are good leaderheads. Please consider adding the Firaxis Taizong LH alongside, or instead of, Ming Tai Zu (he is the "greatest Chinese emperor").

As for Arabia, Ekmek has made Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia. It is of higher quality than Abu Bakr.

I have compiled and added a set of leaderheads for my personal use in RFC, but most of them are not of Firaxis quality like Alexander. Combined with those already in RFC, there are ~75 in total.

Egypt badly needs another leaderhead too. Maybe Hatshepsut early on, but I'd prefer Cleopatra taking over from Ram in 50BC. Perhaps Carthage should start with Dido, and later Hannibal takes over.

No leaderhead can capture the true beauty of Cleopatra ;) Also if you wnat a more modern Egypt then I suggest Nasser, he revolutionized the country and introduced great industialism. You can read more about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamal_Abdel_Nasser

Actually, from what I've read, Cleopatra wasn't that traditionally beautiful. Coins with her face show someone incredibly skinny with a massive beak of a nose. Clearly she was charismatic, though.

Nasser does make more sense. Or Baybars, starting in the Middle Ages.

Nasser is one of those projects that has been proposed for a long time in the Graphics Mods forum, but that nobody has achieved yet.

Really? Weird, his face seem easy to model.

I really like the idea of Meiji, but less so Philip II, which is basically the same era as Isabella. Franco would be more fitting.

Dido for an early Carthage would be nice. However, keep the player as Hannibal.

And that Cleopatra that isn't really Cleopatra looks great!
