Two Mods at once

Is it possible to run to Mods at once. E.g.: Run the Portugal civilkizations aswell as the radius 2 modification.
 
It can be, but i think it largely depends on what each mod changes. Earlier in the year I put JTrade Routes, Playable Natives and something else, altogether in one. Aslong as the different mods don't try to modify the same files.
 
Those shouldn't be too hard to merge, I think none of the files would conflic... Here's how to do it:

  1. Create a new folder in your "C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Colonization\Mods" and give it a name (Like "Radius2Portugal").
  2. Copy or extract Radius2 mod there and rename the .ini file to your new folder's name.
  3. Copy the Portugal's Assets folder over the Radius2 Assets folder, you shouldn't have to overight anything.

...etc.

What should happen if I combine two mods with conflicting information

E.G.: I combine two mods that remodel a soldier (Like in BLU mod). Would the game not run?
 
what's the .ini file?

There is none, it's just I'm going to make a huge Mod cocktail, and I want to know what would happen if Mod X had English soldiers green and Mod Y had them blue.
 
I am new to all of this modding and would like to combine the radius 2 and the East Indies 2.11 together, but they have some of the same files and both have a .ini file, what can I do? Thanks for the help.
 
Does anyone have a clue how to add together 2 mods that mod the same files?
You have to
1. combine source codes of both modes,
2. compile a new CvGameCoreDLL.dll,
3. combine each *.xml and *.py file from both modes in one common *.xml or *.py file.

And which modes you plan to combine? Maybe somebody already made such combined mod.
