I am not sure what exactly you mean? do you want to uninstall the Bug mod?
would you mind linking me to the thread you don't understand?
this is rather old and for the BUG mod - the Next War mod should not actually be affected by BUG unless you installed BUG into the core game files. Did you install BUG? what install option did you use?
it should not be necessary to alter your windows registry and I would not recommend doing so without you knowing exactly what you are doing.

click on start
click on programs
click on accessories
click on system utilities
click on system restoration
click on create system restore point
close that program
what is the installation path of complete edition?
if in doubt right click on the shortcut for beyond the sort and click on properties then look for the line that says target - copy and paste that here.

take a screenshot of what it finds first and post it here
(to take a screenshot: hit the prnt or print key on your keyboard then open an image editing program (e.g. paint) and click on edit then on paste. Save that image - back here click on go advanced then on manage attachments and attach that file to your next post...

unfortunately that is not the right key - in my registry the first occurance is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 - Beyond the Sword
that is the one I need a screenshot of - you might be able to just search for the whole key - or search for beyond the sword until the key (shown at the very bottom of the program screen) matches that one...

what you are looking for is something that looks like my screen - the red marking shows how the key should read - the green one is where your install path needs to be shown - is that there or not?
I know - still it should have installed Beyond the Sword (my install is complete edition as well)...

so that directory that the poster in the other thread was talking about is - in fact - present. That is not the answer to your problem.
Now to get to the bottom of this:
1) post (again) in the thread maintaining this
2) please open my games\beyond the sword\civilizationIV.ini and set all items with log in their name from 0 to 1 (just search for log and set all 0 to 1) then save the .ini file and start the mod - start a play now game if possible, close the game and post all items in my games\beyond the sword\logs as a zip file attachment here.
Now to get to the bottom of this:
