Pre-Game thread RPC, TNG: Earth War, MAD vs CFCs

OK people, here is the pregame thread for the next Role Play Challenge, the Next Generation.

No great historical leaders this time, only one Current Great Leader! Myself.

Yes friends, I will be playing as myself, while the competition will be named after a CivFanatic Member! A few who have helped my game and RPCs in the past I already invited, only criteria I had was that they were usual posters. Other who have helped me alot are not really regular posters (Sis, Slobbering Bear, Snaaty, OBSOLETE, ABigCivFan) so I did not add them but they are welcomed to volunteer.

So what the hell am I talking about (good question ).

OK, I plan to play an earth-map here, giving each leader a new name based on your usernames! It is a single player game that I play out, it is NOT a multi-player game. But anyone willing to shadow as their own namesake, feel free! By the way I ran the idea past Neal first and he is fine on me running an earth-map RPC.

Rule:

Only ONE, I must destroy all of you. Yes, call is a late restribution game for the "Paranoia" Classic RPC. Otherwise, any normal play style is open and I plan to play emperor difficulty at Epic speed.

I also plan to play as my all-time favorite War-Monger, Ghenghis Khan.

I am also usign the Scenario earth-18 from BTS, so I am not using the leaders I originally told select posters I would. Sue me!

I will post the list of leaders/posters in post number 2.

I am looking for victums, I mean volunteers to let me use their namesakes as a specific leader.

Ant additional rules can be added. I was thinking of no vassals, but not sure there. This is a pregame thread and is open for all suggestions advice.

One question, is it possible to change the viewed names to shows as the user names by just changing the worldbuilder save???? Example, rather than Ghangis Khan of Mongolia it's MadScientist of Mongolia???

Hyuna Capac: Futurehermit, who's good advice when I first started helped my game enormously. And with his classic signature "Land is Power" I decided to give him the leader with the worse land!

Montezuma: TheMeInTeam (TMIT), who has shadowed many Classic RPCs much better than I ever did, especially since early on he was intimidated by some of the rules! He hand-picked the leader saying Monty is more his type of leader (he wanted Khan but too bad!)

Alexander: Semirami, for donating several classic RPC terra maps (Liz, Pacal) and showing me how to win a late-game culture win in the Louis debacle. I wanted to give him Justinian, but I hope Alexander is geographically good enough.

Isabella: Rolo for his exceptional LHC series, talk about learning to play an isolated start! And his donated map for the Tokugawa fiasco. I planned to give him Joaoa, but rather than redo the map, he will be Isabella! Portugese, Spanish same thing

Hatshesut: DaveMcW, for many eyars of those excellent one line pieces of advice. The master of cottages gets the leader who has the best early cottageable land, the Nile river!

Asoka: Neal, because of his Earth-Map series! He slected Asoka since it's his current avatar!

Qin Huang: Yared94 (Soory dude, too late )

You can just change the leader name in World Builder same as you would change the leader's picture etc. I've had some silly copy/past mishaps with some really oddly named leaders.

Well I'm hardly someone who has helped you much other than adding to your view count, however I'd be willing to let you use my name for the Japanese empire.... largely because somehow has to be the old ugly crusty loser.

I suggest Sisiutil for the leader of the (North) Americans. That is assuming that he is game to allow you to use his handle.

I thought the ame thing but never see him active when I am on. Perhaps I'll PM him.

No vassals sounds like a good idea, since that makes everybody else play by your rules. If you need somebody to fill the role of the French weenie, I would be happy to do so.

Funny, the first thing I thought in reading post #1 was that I want to be Monty. Not at all shocked when that honor went to TMIT...so, can I at least be on the same continent as him, and we'll see which one of us prevails (alas, I think it'll be him, as Roosevelt has been a bit weak on that map the couple times I've played it). If sis wants roosevelt, that's ok, maybe i could be cyrus instead - hopefully would take awhile for genghis to overrun him.

Alexander is not only geographical good enough, thats my real name!!!

I still feel like I'm relatively new to the forums and certainly I've only been following the last dozen RPCs, so I will feel it only mete and proper if you pass me over, but the one time I tried Earth18 I played England, so I would be happy to do so here and watch as you beat up another Madman.
