This pack contains a lot of building construction sounds which can be used by modmakers. All sounds start with a "dink".
Grabbed sounds from internet as well as some good old CIV2 sounds.
Included in the pack are 66 sounds, code snippets for Audio2Dscripts.xml and AudioDefines.xml. Also included a textfile with the Constructsound-tags to be used in CIV4BuildingInfos.xml.

DOWNLOAD (22050 Hz) MUCH BETTER QUALITY SOUNDS!!

Enjoy!

These are excellent!

Love the Burial Mound sound. I'm just imagining what it would be like to build ten at a time. :)

The sound for Military Academy brought back memories. I freaked out at the Space Elevator sound - thought my head was gonna explode. That sound would probably rival the Circumnavigation/Liberalism sound in terms of scary factor.

Glad you like 'm ;)

Good work!
I've made many construct-sounds myself (see: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=331505), and I noticed that your wav files seem to be recorded at a low frequency sample rate (11025 Hz), whereas the vanilla Civ4 wav files are at 22050 Hz. Your audio, in comparison, sounds kinda "scratchy" because of this. Assuming you have the original audio projects and data on-hand, re-encoding them at the higher sample rate is easy to do, and will significantly increase audio quality, which I'm sure we can all agree is a good thing.

Thanks :)

Could give it a try, but my original sounds are .wma and I converted them to .wav with a setting of 11025 Hz. I didn't know vanilla Civ4 sound are 22050 Hz :(. It will also double the size of the .wavs!

I don't think you need to worry about filesize for the .wav files, as they compress fairly well using WinRAR or 7zip. Also, I encoded my ConstructSounds as .wav files at 706 kbps and 22050 Hz, and each .wav was still less than a megabyte before compression.

OK, I changed the wavs and I must admit the quality is much better! See OP.

Enjoy!
