Personally, I've thought of creating a "Better RoM" modmod, tweaking some units strengths and building effects, similar to the way Balanced Civics work. Thoughts?

With the unlimited wonder option it might be nice to put Holy Shrines back as World Wonders. Just so that they behave the same way as in vanilla civ, Warlords and Bts also ;) My Holy Shrine does this in part but not completely since it does not work for Hellenism. For some reason that shrine is defined differently to the others by Zappara.

So my suggestion is to include my mod in the unlimited wonder mod with the maintance note that it needs the forced over ride xml function when it is available. I will make a patch for AAranda's new religions which will do the same for the holy shrines in it.

I'm in the process of trying out a game with the new fixed borders option, and so far it's a lot of fun claiming territory. Would it be possible to add an option to do the opposite, if I wanted to un-claim or rescind my claim to a territory?

This would be very useful for when my borders end up enclosing the cities of nearby vassals and stifling their production/growth.

I also (in my current game) managed to end up enclosing some units that appeared because of a revolution the turn before I destroyed an enemy city. Ideally I would like to rescind my claim to the two tiles to the right of them so that they can get to the egyptians who they are at war with.

I would like to see more realistic effects for religious buildings, in terms of resource bonuses. For example, Abbamouse's Realistic Religions mod had Muslim Temples counteract the :) bonus from Wine and gain a :health: bonus from sheep and cow (due to halal practices) while counteracting the :health: bonus from pigs, and Hindu Temples no longer gained a :health: bonus from cows but instead gained 1 :) from them. It would only require slight tweaking to the BuildingInfos.XML file, and private experimentation with it seems to have worked well for me.

The same mod also had some interesting features relating to religion's spreading speed (Judaism spread veeery slowly and you could only have one Rabbi at a time, while you had to spread Christianity almost completely by Missionaries, who were produced 75% faster than other religions units.)

I hate the idea but that is only because I go for all the religions in all my cities. See my screenshot in the main RoM forum :)
