We could run a python check every turn for bears. If they are on tundra or ice, they use polar bear art. If they are on water they turn into a duck.

Maybe give the Illians a special rider called the polar bear rider. They live in ice, with polar bears. You think they'd have figured something out. Iunno. It would be cool if it could be done. Also, shameless plug. Come here and here

i think a polar bear is just too pretty to exclude. especially for illidans, frost, doviello, etc. you may also need the following: an orca or killer whale, seals, igloo... (for tribal villages in the snow). sorry, I like snow.

I'd certainly include Orcas if we could get art for them, would allow me to give the Doviello a sea mammal.

I'm a pushover as far as including new critters goes...but only if there is decent art for them.
