This mod makes it so that if you change civic to a civic that is the favorite civic of one of your civs leaders, you change to that leader.
I proposed the idea, Androrc the Orc wrote the core code, I filled in supporting code and XML and compiled and uploaded it.

For example, in my first playtest, I started as Catherine, changed civic to State Property, and became Stalin.

EDIT:
I changed this so the favorite civic is not used. Instead theres a new tag "trigger civic." That way you can make the trigger civic and favorite civic different and an ai civ won't get stuck with the same leader forever because hes not about to change away from his favorite civic.

Also the latest version includes an example of how it could be used. I consolidated civs so each civ has 3 to 5 leaders and they have favorite civic and trigger civics that complement each other, so that ai civs will tend to have an ancient era leader in the ancient era and a modern era leader in the modern era.

OK, I've done that. Same link.

Pedia articles now start with info about the leader's trigger civic and theres a spreadsheet about all the leaders. Also redid descriptions (redesced) so that Rome is now italy and Joao is now Pontiff for example. Added a bunch of leaders using art from official mods. This is kind of a Lite version (quick download) compared to the potential with all the leaderheads available.

I cut the list of civs to those that can be rationalized as having been around since way BC, either as in empire in a certain area or as a people with cultural continuity. For example, America's first leader is Tuskaloosa (of the Mississippian culture) and the next one is Washington. The Turks start with Labarna (of the Hittites) even though he wasn't technically a "turk" much less an Ottoman.

Out are Mayans (merged with Mexico) Native Americans (merged with America) Zulu (merged with Ethiopia) Mali (merged with Phonecia/Carthage/Moors/Spain)
Portuguese (merged with Rome/Italy), Celts (split up between France and Britain), Netherlands and Holy Roman Empire (merged with Germany) Vikings (merged with Russia) Byzantium (merged with Greece) Mongols (merged with Turks and Chinese) Sumerians (now Phonecians), Babylon (merged with Persia) Khmer (merged with India) and Korea (merged with Japan). Thus I count 17 civs and 68 leaders.

EDIT: I added Nasser of the Egyptians and did the renamed civ names right (British Empire/Britain/British).
