earning 100+ gold per turn, too. With a hugemongoid empire.

That plus his nine ice nodes...

It ruined our game.

This isn't the first time he's gone to the moon and been #1 in everything. Can see in the score graph that around the middle of the game something happens andhis score progression starts to climb very steep...

mutter.
save attached. try look at Paradox's Illians.

Illian with recent changes to terrain, adding religion for them and removing nothing (they were compensated for NOT having religion) means one thing...Incredible OP civilization. I played them few times and they are like cyber-raptor-jesus.... :D

Illians with a fur or two and some rivers in their starting plot are in a great position to steal the FoL holy city from the elves, with catastrophic results. Yaranga in Ancient Forest on Illian Ice has ridiculous plot yields and is achievable very early in the game.

And it is not as though they need the Ancient forest, since there seems to be a lot of food resources up in the cold. The last game I played as Diovello every plot in my starting cross that wasn't a peak (which was about half the plot) had bison, arctic deer or fur.

I'll be nerfing Glacial terrain (specifically Crystal Plains) for the Illians next version; Hopefully that will fix the issue.

That is a good start, but I think something needs to be done about their units(religion). They can have a religion and unique priests aswell...

Ice 2 Divine is overpowered. He was able to spam twenty 13str ice elementals every turn because priest of winter only has to stand around a few turns before they can cast their affinity summon. Not even Death mana is that crazy because at least death mana 2 is Arcane with all the restrictions that come with that (mostly turns related).

Even if he had the worst economy on the map, he could still have killed EVERY CIV on the map because all he needed was space and Elementalism.

Uh, just a stab in the dark, since I know pretty much nothing about FFH or RiFe, but do the Illians have the multiple research capability?

They do not. Noone in the released version has it, as it's not included yet. Part of the next version, but available to all.

Okay. I found a bug in the calculation (again)[that would make a civ get ~infinite research, which is why I asked], so you'll need to make a minor adjustment. (But It's working now! I actually tested it! :D)

On that note. Why can't I create the Draw as the Illians? Do I have to play with Auric as my leader?
I was etching to ascend (for the first time actually).

(Oh, and there's a bug related to summoning Drifa without being in the White Hand religion)

That's because I hadn't realized those summons were 'permanent' (sorta) when I used them. The spells were all preexisting.

That's one of the things that will be fixed.

Get rid of affinity on summoned units. spawning 20 13 str elementals with +percent is not cool, it's cheap and way way way too effective. Being able to do it every turn even less cool. Death needs the same beating. No army can survive that.

affinity is easily countered by plundering commandocavallery. its not hard to run into enemy lands and kick the nodes when their army isnt there

So, I created the Draw, researched everything, but can't create the Ascension. How come? What am I missing?

I had added some python requiring Auric to be alive in order for Ascension to be completed; Either he's dead, or it's not working if you cannot complete it and he's alive.

Don't you also need to have eliminated at least one other civ to do that? It's been a while so I can't remmeber if that's still in or which ritual it applied to.
