YOU ARE THE GREATEST UNIT MAKER WHO EVER LIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:worship: :worship: :worship:

This is going to take me at least an hour to shift through.

Oh, just a question - you know the warlord units, whether I can use any of the melee unit animations with them?

Glad you like them mamba! :D

@cybrxkhan
I don't think I deserve that title! :lol: at least not yet....
I don't know if the warlords will work with any other animation, but I can easily attach them to melee animations. I'll do that by next week.

Edit: Added the Barbary pirates to the first post. I made so many units that I'm forgetting about them.... :crazyeye:

So much happiness in one post!!! Thank you!!!

I wonder what wonders Bakuel Productions' Unit-Making Factory will roll out next with? :D

@Xyth Just doing my duty and I'm glad you like the units. :)

@cybrxkhan
Next I'm going to do some Turkish units. So hopefully in about four weeks or so you can expect a flood of central Asian and middle eastern stuff including that Uighur heroine you requested a while ago.

Oh darn. That won't make it to the next version of WoL. :(

Unless if you can secretly hand it over to me? :shifty:

:lol: It's okay, take your time, but if you do finish it early or already have finished it I'll gladly take her. :mischief:

Damn son!!! This is an insane release! I think I can pretty much safely say that all the current flavored mods in progress right now are going to be delayed, and with good reason. I definitely have to start adding some of this stuff to my mod now!!!

Good work, words can't even approach how awesome these units are. You are far too humble, I mean this with all due repsect to the fantastic unit-makers that have come and gone, but when it comes to flavored units nobody can hold a torch to Bakuel. Danrell is up there, but Bakuel, you are :):):):)ing brilliant.

And now you are working on Turks, which is fantastic but I think you deserve a little break after this mess of units you just laid out, and it will yet again delay my mod. But when it gets delayed for something like this, I don't mind it at all. And I love the Olivares Warlord, he may have not been a truly great commander, but screw it. It's a peice of art and thanks for accepting the request. :goodjob:

So in sum; next time someone asks why my mod is constantly delayed, I'll blame Bakuel. :goodjob:

@cybrxkhan
I'll see about that Uighur heroine, no promises though.

@Capo
Believe it or not Capo, I do this stuff for fun! :hammer2:

But seriously, I usually take my time making units so I don't get burned out. This update just seems like large because my last one was around a month ago.

Thanks for the workers, Bakuel! They are beautiful! This ways, I can include the new workers even in the next versions of my mods! Coooool! Can't wait for the Saxonian units. ;)

Count one more mod that will include your work in the next release ;)

@Castor_Troy, I'm glad you can use them Castor Troy, the more people that include my units the happier I am.

@cool3a2
Glad you like the workers! And don't worry, I haven't forgotten about your request.

In the afternoon i've browsed a bit the database without logging in, looked at the left, thought "Oh, bakuel has upload some new units...and some more...and some more...more...more...more..." :wow:.
I guess, there's now no civ out there which lacks some ethnic unit art :D.
Your work is just great, it's really good to have you here in the forum :).

Just noticed a minor glitch: the Spanish Javelin Thrower has a hot pink horn around its neck. Either a missing texture or there's a side to the Ancient Iberians we didn't know about ;)

If you mean by Bakuel, there are a few left. If you mean in general, I don't think there are any left, although that was the case for a while. In any event I'm sure they'll be no shortages of requests.

You can fix that yourself with NifSkope (or something similar), just click it, and go to the texturing property. Bakuel still hasn't got the hang of NifSkope yet, on his computer it shows up perfectly fine because he has all of his folders tagged in there. So just open it up, click on the horn, go to the texturing property and delete all of the extra folders he has written there until it is just the WHATEVERTEXTURE.dds.

No problem about the Uighur heroine, Bakuel. Please take your time, as always. We don't want her to be too ugly, now. :D

@ The_J
Well, the units kinda piled up on my computer because I was too lazy to upload them... :D

@ Xyth
Capo's right, I forgot to put the skirmisher texture in the Spanish Javelin Thrower folder, in my nifskope I could swear it showed up fine though.
Anyway, I updated the zip so it should be fine now, thanks for reporting the bug. If you don't want to re download it you should be able to find the skirmisher_128.dds file in units/unique/mali/skirmisher (or something like that) and then just copy it and put it in the Spanish Javelin Thrower folder and it should work.

@ cybrxkhan
Don't worry, I won't rush it. ;)

Hi Bakuel! Nice job......and so many units this time! (I've been working on some stuff, but can't seem to find the time to finish anything.) In fact, I was working on a Turkish Rifleman. Perhaps I can compliment your Turkish units release or you may find some of my stuff of use for your project.

Glad you like the units Acronym2, and I rarely make industrial age units unless requested (the Berbers where a exception) so if you are making a Turkish rifleman or any other Turkish gunpowder unit(s) the odds are they won't overlap with mine. I usually stick to just ancient and medieval units with a occasional renaissance pack every now and then.
Also you should finish your units and upload them, the more the merrier!
