I'll be starting a new pitboss with an "Island" map. Planned starting date is next Wednesday, 17th of March.
Please read the proposed settings and sign in if interested.

Current players (proposed leader & civ)

1) RRRaskolnikov (Mehmed of Carthage) => Stalin of Portugal
2) slaze (Lincoln Of Ottomans) => Elizabeth of Rome
3) classical_hero (Frederick of the Holy Roman Empire) => Hatshepsut of Spain
4) Geronimo (Darius of the Native Americans) => Roosevelt of the Byzantine
5) Exploit (Joao II of Sumeria) => Mehmed of Carthage
6) Rusten (Roosevelt of the Byzantine) => Lincoln Of Ottomans
7) Elkad (Huayna Capac of the Dutch) => Darius of the Native Americans
8) babybluepants (Joao II of Sumeria) => Frederick of the Holy Roman Empire
9) IanDC (Hatshepsut of Spain) => Joao II of Sumeria
10) KingMorgan (Elizabeth of Rome) => Qin Shi Huang of the Vikings
11) Zorzak (Napoleon of the Incas) => Huayna Capac of the Dutch
12) Rihiter (Stalin of Portugal) => Napoleon of the Incas

Civstats

General
Each player will choose one civilization and one leader (unrestricted leaders). Each couple will be randomly attributed to one player. The "balanced resources" setting has been selected. All victory conditions are on, except "Time victory". Direct IP connexion (IP will be sent to each player)

Version: BTS 3.19

Number of players: up to 18

Difficulty Level
The difficulty level is Deity for all players.

Mod
The no-score mod V2 will be used.

War time
No war or sneak attack during the first 20 turns (3200BC). (Note that this point is known as the "obvious one")
No double move allowed during war time. Once the war is declared, the concerned players turn order will be maintained, as much as possible. Less than 6 hours on the clock to play his turn can be a reason to exceptionally break the latest.
A reload request could be exceptionally authorized during the game in case of misclick (unintentional war declaration with huge consequences for example).

Happy 1000th post Geronimo :p
I'd like to sign in please. Looking forward to some naval action :goodjob:

Count me in. One question, can leaders or civs be chosen more than once? Are we going to end up wtih 18 Vikings in the game?

It appears the no war til 3200BC is completely unnecessary for this one
Right slaze, otherwise there is a trick somewhere!

No, each leader or civ can be chosen only once. Remember that the two will be randomly attributed to one player (who could be you ;) )

No Tech Trading

MUST....RESIST..........TOO....MANY....GAMES.....
:assimilate:

I'm too weak -- count me in.

I'm in.

Vassal states off please?

I'd like some naval changes too.. Transports take coal or oil, destroyers require rifling (plus combustion), battleships take artillery+industrialism. But then we'd be on NoScoreV3 or something..

I would like to submit Qin Shi Huang of the Vikings to the pool.

Odds are I won't get this civ but regardless I feel the Vikings will need to be neutered a bit to give the rest of us a fair chance.

I'd pick a different leader if I were you. At least if you're looking to nerf the Vikings. Normally QSH is bad, but he's got a good chance to get the GLH and the Colossus. IND speeds up the forge and the GLH doesn't have a resource to boost its production -- meaning IND civs have an edge for those two in particular, and on this map they are very good.

I'd like to sign up, too. :)
No experience with MP. Should be fun and educational. :D
Do I need to download the no-score mod from somewhere? Link?

^^ Thx. :)
How do we avoid some players getting a crap-ton of tundra/ice and others getting Equator green land? Or not?
I'll pick Joao II of Sumeria.

I tried once to use a mapscript to force some settings, but not well adapted to set up a Pitboss game. I had to edit the map with worldbuilder to get it work with Pitboss... I promise I closed my eyes ;).
With an Island map, it seemed to me that no island was completely tundra or jungle. But of course there will be some better places than others...
