I would go with farms rather than cottages for this, but even then, I don't know about the horses thing.

I did not check the code, but doesn't topsecret meant that you can discover resources in goody huts?

That would make more sense....I can see a Tribal Village possibly holding a hidden resource.
The idea is that the people living there would find it but This isn't popular so I will try to get the goody huts to reveal resources
