I think these are a big improvement - good to see them. I'm glad you're making units again after all.

Can't it be resized, or is it something too complex or time consuming or would it be lacking quality.

I'm not trying to be smart, I resized your preview gif to 240x240 with animation shop and it ran and looked okay. I have never rendered a unit before, so I am ignorant.

One problem with this sort of thing is that it's not just a matter of the frame size. It's also a matter of where the unit is within the frame, because it has to be correctly positioned on the tile. If the frame size is 240x240 then you cannot change the offset at all (you can only change the offset by up to 240 minus the frame size). That means that in a 240x240 frame, if the unit itself is not perfectly positioned on the tile - especially in the Y axis - you have problems. This has been a real hassle for me in the past when I have made things with big frame sizes and found that I can't position them properly, and had to re-render with different camera angles.
