tech speed per era

Question, how do i change the tech speed per era?

When i change the appropriate era file's tags (iReseachpercent) no change is visible in the tech tree. When i change the same tag in the gamespeed file i do see a change. However this is a flat change for the whole tech tree and not per era as i want it. I'm surprised this hasnt been asked before. Nothing in seven pages...

Did you actually test it with entering this era?
I guess, you might not see it, until you're in it.

It seems that the iReseachpercent of the era_ancient section in CIV4EraInfos.xml determines the research rate of the whole tech tree. It doesnt matter if you change the iResearchpercent of the other eras. Tested inclining and declining rates.

Also i gave myself all ancient tech and one classical tech but no change.

Just to clarify, I didnt see any change in the first place since i kept the ancient era at 100% while changing the other eras. So the question still remains.

This is looking like a bug to me.

Then this tag is maybe just wrong implemented.
Would need a SDK coder to fix it :/.
