After looking at nutnut's Lithuania story, I decided to do a swapped civ story of my own. As such, I decided to rename the Dutch the Austrians (I guess I could have renamed the Germans, but Austrian history wouldn't be much fun without a war with the Prussians, would it?) As such, I present to you:

The Rise of the Austrians

Chapter 1

920 AD:
A band of explorers and adventurers from Germany found the city of Wien on the Danube river valley:

A second party travels eastward down the Danube.

980 AD:

I think you're in for a rough time, I'd suggest capturing Athens ASAP since it should be your best city until you can conquer Germany, even so it should be hard.
Best of luck!
BTW it could be cool if you could make up 3 UHV goals and try to achieve them (2 historical and 1 non-historical).
I just thought of one: Control Germany and Italy by 1300 AD (should be kinda hard though, only 300 years to capture Rome and Germany which should be strong).

To be honest actually, this is the 600 AD start. I'm planning on attacking the Byzantines, but I will have to wait until I have Iron.
