This thread is for a Snakes and Foxes Super Smash Brothers Brawl Game. Just a note, I put this through Zack, the only other person on the list, and he said it was fine if I start before him (Check my visitor messages if you want.)
Here are the Rules
Players- 35. Each player will be given a playable character from the Brawl video games. Your character will NOT be revealed, it is a secret.
Players will be divided and be either Evil (Mafia, Snakes, Werewolves, whatever, doesn't matter) Good (Townies, Foxes, whatever) or neutral (Neither one, usually looks out for himself.) You will also be given a faction. You will know who is in your faction, but that is no guarantees that they support you in the game.
Here is what a character role would look like (This is a joke, your roll PM will be a serious Brawl character, but this is an example)
Name:
Alliance- Innocent (If innocent or neutral, you will not know who else is in your alliance. If you are Mafia, you will know.)
Faction- Smiles (You will know which players are in your faction, but not their characters)
Strength- 1 (On a scale of 1-X where X is not revealed)
Abilities- Is not affected by rules regarding Smile count, can post more than 30 without the forum stopping him.
Items- Poison Thumb +2 Strength
Starting Money- 10 Gold
Income- 3 Per Turn
Hit Points- 1, you're just a smile (In the game this will range from 3-6)
Goals (Note, this is the standard, you will have 5 goals, however you may have multiple faction goals, no alliance goals, two item goals, or anything else I decide, there will be five, that's the only guarantee.)
Alliance Goal (Worth 30 Points)- Ensure there are more innocents than Mafia at the end of the game (Yes, this is worded differently then normal for a good reason, you will find out later, Mafia goal is to ensure there are more or an equal number of Mafia than innocents. Neutrals have no alliance and don't matter to either alliance as a whole (But may matter to individual players.)
Faction Goal (Worth 20 Points)- Ensure your faction has more smiles posted than all other factions combined (Most factions will have a "Ensure your faction has more..." or the like, but it won't be as pointless as this. Also, all players in your faction share this goal)
Personal Goal (Worth 20 Points) (Something only you have to do.) Outlive the
smile (Personal goals are unpredictable and will vary.)
Survival Goal (Worth 20 Points) To make it to the "Final 8" usually (This will be explained later on.) There may be the odd character that has to die however.
Item Goal (Worth 10 points) Have the Poison thumb at the end of the game (This may or may not be an item you start the game with.)
NOTE: These may differ, depending on which goals you have. If it differs, you will be clearly told in PM.
HOW THE GAME WORKS: There are three phases, Morning, Afternoon, and Night. The game starts in the Morning.
MORNING: Posting is OPEN in the morning. In the morning, you can challenge any other player to a Brawl (Brawls will be explained in another section.) The loser will either be injured or killed, depending on how large the margin of victory is.
Challenges should be bold, such as:
Challenge: Domination3000
Then, the two of you will battle. Only one challenge per morning can be accepted, if the challenge is declined, a new challenge can be offered. Bold accept or decline if challenged. If you do not accept or decline you may be penalized.
ALSO: Each Morning, I will put an item up for auction (One not owned by anyone)
Afternoon: Posting is OPEN. In Afternoon, you vote for two players to fight. Not voting counts as abstain, however, abstaining is a better option then not voting. If you don't vote for a long period of time, you may be deactivated.
These two players duel in the same format as the morning challenges. However, the loser is automatically KOed (Out of the game.)
Night: Posting is CLOSED. This is when Mafia kills take place. I will explain to the Mafia how this works through PM when they get their roles. I cannot give this info publically. The Mafia leader sends a player to attack an innocent or neutral.
BATTLE SYSTEM:
This is how the battle system works.
I will PM both players, they will play Rock, Paper, Mario (From Mario Party 2) to determine advantage. If in a fight, attempting to kill, exc, PM me Mario, Peach or Bowser.
Bowser beats Peach.
Peach Beats Mario
Mario beats Bowser.
If you both pick the same one, there is no advantage. Otherwise, whoever wins gets +2 to their strength. Here is how combat works.
Player A Player B
Base Strength- 3 Base Strength 2
Rock Paper Mario Modifier- 0 Rock Paper Mario Modifier- 2
Item Modifier- 1 Item Modifier- 0
Dice Modifier- 5 Dice Modifier- 6
I roll a die for each of you to determine the dice modifier.
You then add up all of the numbers.
For instance:
Player A total Strength- 9
Player B Total Strength- 10
Player B wins. Player A is injured or killed depending on type of Combat. Combat is as follows: (For these purposes, innocent and Neutral are both called innocent)
Mafia VS innocent:
Mafia has Less Strength then Innocent- Mafia is injured an amount equal to difference.
For instance:
Mafia Total Strength- 5
Innocent Total Strength- 7
Mafia loses 2 Damage.
Mafia Strength = Innocent Strength- Innocent takes 1 damage.
Mafia Strength is greater than Innocent Strength- Innocent is KOed.
Challenge Battle-
Challenged Wins- Challenger Player takes damage equal to the number the challenger won by.
Tie- Both players take 1 damage.
Challenger Wins- Challenged Player takes damage equal to the number the challenger
won by.
Lynch Mob- Ties are impossible. Loser dies. If Tied, I will roll another die, and continue until someone wins, and the loser dies. However each time you tie, the winner takes 1 damage.
Colosseum- When 8 players remain, the standard game ends. The final 8 survivors will enter the Colosseum. All old ties will end with other players. You will then be randomly paired and fight Brawls with the players you are paired against. Each round, the loser will be KOed (Same as Lynch mob, no ties allowed.) You score as follows:
Reach Final Four- Gain 10 Points
Reach Final Two- Gain 25 Points (Instead of 10.)
Win the Colloseum- Gain 50 Points (Instead of 10 or 25.)
After that, you add up your final score, and the final winner is the one with the most points. If there is a tie, all tied players win.

Just for the record, the way I'm gonna do role PMs, unless anyone objects, is just give the first role to the first signup. For instance, whoever I write first would go to CivPlayah.
