No doubt winnable, but still amusing :)

It's Deity btw if anyone wants to try.

I'd settle 1E of the scout here. :):p

In all seriousness, that start looks great. :D 1W would be the best GP farm super capital.

@kadazzle
I didn't play this game, simply because I was looking for something a little more hmmm fun. Although this does have great novelty value :). I might load this back up another time, with the save here and all.

@CT 1E means you can fit only 1 city there. Although if you were going for an occ style that would be a good spot.

When I first moved the scout, I went "ahahahahaha", and thought "now I knew how it felt to be brennus and blocked from rest of continent" (another game, so he was blocked with 3 cities didn't do much at all :\).

For fun, was thinking about OCC style, as a serious game though, it is asking a little much of me, although there are some others that could do well in it I'm sure.

It wouldn't be very funny if an AI had a start like that instead. It would create 2 cities, and the other 8 or so that would be available to it would all go to some other AI.

@TMIT
At the time I was still learning IMM, and was enjoying the challenge of a new level rather than raging about imbalances :P.

That's when I'd rage most lol :p. Trying to learn a new level and 1 hr + into the game you realize the other continent had something like this and then a super AI has fusion around 1800 AD on immortal such that the only way you'd win is if you were a deity veteran playing down for some reason.

A start like this in human hands isn't nearly as broken. Having to build a galley sucks, but you really only need 1 early, and the seafood + obvious prevalence of coastal sites means going sailing is somewhat high on priorities anyway. It might set back settling 5-10 turns at most, which sucks but there are worse things. It also makes you almost 100% immune to DoW from AIs on the continent if you *don't* settle past the mountain ridge for some reason, meaning that AP cheese or an OCC with this start is easier than usual.

I recommend rexxing!

There is probably a secret mountain pass that need defend with 300 hoplites :)

I win!

Edit: Why are we moving off the 2h capitol in place site? If you really want a 2nd city this side of the mountains, 3W works if you settle in place and can even share food. In place also gets fresh water and all food in sight.

A humorous win for a humorous start! Remind me how this goes again:
Spoiler :
You are small, have no science or power, but you founded Christianity and converted a monster Hatty. She has twice the votes of the world combined, why didn't she win AP, and did she vote for you?

Spoiler :
I was puzzled too, but i think now i understand it: AP was build in Judaism. Eligible for the diplo win is the civ which controls AP, and all civs which have the AP-Religion as state religion. Since no Civs where in Judaism, only tmit was eligible.

Bahahahaha.

If this was a pangea map (I don't know), it'd be the perfect OCC map for non declarations...

Why are we moving off the 2h capitol in place site?
Well you can either have a second city that works clams, or one that works corn. Or take Dave's city and only work corn :P.

Correct! That is how it was done.

Spoiler :

Indeed winnable, but perhaps only by exploiting this sad bug. Of course, the jewish AP should and would never convene for the election of a world religious leader when no civ is in judaism.

What is this, some secret jewish conspiracy to overthrow the greatest nation on earth to gain global dominance, while at the same time pretending to be acting in the interest of said great christian nation? Totally unrealistic bug and certainly this never happened in all of earths history, now did it, Sid Meier?:D

Hilarious! Had it happen to me once with room for 3-4 cities. It was only a single peak blocking me. AIR, the first city I settled on the other side was captured by barbs and I rage quit.
