Indeed! Here it is.
We are the Mongols. Lead by me, Genghis Khan! For long I have been wandering this land as the chief of a nomadic tribe. However, now I think that it's time our culture settled down and founded a city.
Turn 1. My people are great settlers. They have already found a perfect spot for our new city. I named my city "Karakorum". I have started training some warriors to defend my new city from the animals. Meanwhile, my scouts shall explore our surroundings. I have told all my people to map everything new, and I have called this the "Cartography Act".
Turn 2. The Cartography Act is a great success! My scouts have already found a nearby village. The villagers shared with us a new technology. They call it "Mining". We could find all sorts of things with this technology! It's quite exciting. I have decided to come up with a better way of fishing, as our current method is quite wasteful. I have ordered my fishermen to work on improving it.
Turn 3. I have ordered my scouts to explore this land. I have given them the liberty to move as they wish.
Turn 6. My fishermen have come up with a more effective way of fishing. In my infinite wisdom I have decided to call it "Fishing".
They say that if we sent a work boat further away from the coast, they could catch a lot more fish. I told them I would direct our resources to the construction of such a boat once my warriors have finished their training. Meanwhile, my people shall come up with something that we could do about all the animals around. I think that growing them would be more efficient than just hunting them.
Turn 9. My warriors have finished their training. I have now started the construction of the work boat. It's very interesting, as something like this hasn't been done before. My people have also started spreading rumors about a man named Siddhartha Gautama who is said to have achieved enlightenment.
Turn 11. The city of Karakorum has grown in population. This means that the work boat will be finished faster.
Turn 15. Tragedy! My scouts have been killed by bears. Perhaps I should have been guiding them after all.
Turn 17. My people have started spreading rumors of people far away who believe in reincarnation. An infinite amount of reincarnations, to be precise. Imagine that! Being born again...
Turn 18. My people have come up with a method of animal husbandry.
They also discovered a new type of animal: the horse. I think it might be useful some day.
I was thinking about the idea of the fishing boat. If it was bigger, it could be used for longer expeditions than merely fishing trips. We could explore the great unknown of the sea! I set this task to my people. They are really brilliant. I'm sure they'll think of something.
Turn 20. The work boat has been finished. I have ordered it to go on an expedition to fish for the crabs near Karakorum. Meanwhile, I've started training another warrior to protect Karakorum.
Turn 22. The fishing expedition was a huge success! The fishermen have already returned from their trip with an abundance of crabs. Karakorum has already grown in population. My city shall flourish!
Turn 28. My people never fail to astound me. They have come up with an ingenious way of creating new boats: they use sails to capture wind and move the boat forward.
This rate of discoveries is purely amazing! Imagine what kinds of frontiers this opens! I have decided to work on a new tool for hunting, that is, some kind of sharp projectile that could be used to kill game that is very far away. I shall postpone production for a turn and allow my city to grow before I begin to train a worker.
Turn 29. Karakorum has grown in population. I shall now start training a worker. We could be doing so much more on the land.
Turn 30. I am growing old. I am not feeling very well. I don't have very long to live.
Turn 31.
Genghis Khan has died. The Mongol people have decided to make Genghis Khan's eldest son, Genghis Khan II (Forty-Two) the new chief of the Mongolian Chiefdom of Karakorum.
