Okay my last NES was a failure. This NES is based on the Reuniciation og GErmany in the 1860's. I will post rules and an overview of the states in a moment. But here is the map.

I will take BRE. That is Bremen I believe.
 
Overview of the States and general fluff.

Prussia From the future capital of the German Empire, Berlin, the Prussians were the ones that ultimatley won the day in the end. Will the do the same in shNES? They start their campaign from Ber (Berlin)

Austrian Reich The other major contender of the fate of Germany. The Austrians lost out on their chance during the disatrous 7 week Austro-Prussian War in 1868. Austria failed to ascend the throne of Germany, and Prussian dominance was all but assured. They start the game from WIE (Vienna)

Switzerland Although they never really played a huge role in the Germanic affairs after their defeat by Austria in the 1200's the Swiss, might of been able to take south-west Germany into a new Swiss Empire. They start the game from INN (Innusbruck)

Luxemburg Although this French/German duchy has remained independent. They could of played a larger role in Germanic affairs. They start the game from LUX (Luxemburg)

Bavaria - Wurtermburg The Bavarians known for Beer and Octoberfest (gotta love these people) Could of successfully taken Prussia were it not for their love of the amber liquid. Instead of uniting Germany under their thumb, they lazed around sipping the god's nectar and generally spent their time in a druken stupor. Wurtemburg had Stuttgart as its capital. Munich unfortunatley was to close to Switzerland and Austria in the game. They start the game from STU (Stuttgart)

Saxony Although this Kingdom was one of the first to be taken out by the Prussians it is entirely feasebile that the Saxons could've kept the might of Prussia at bay altering the course of history in the modern era. They start the game from DRE (Dresden)

Heligoland Bight This is a made up kingdom for the game. However if Hannover, Hamburg and Bremen had united against Prussia, Prussian ascedency to the throne og Germany would not be assured. They start the game in BRE (Bremen)

Brunswick Brunswick was a small state and had no real hope of doing anything great. However its politics swayed mosty of its neighbours towards Prussia allowing German unity in the West. They start the game in KAS (Kassel) which also posses the city Brunswick

Bohemia The Czechs are represented by the Bohemian government. In Real life the Bohemians were ling under the Austrian heel, however for the game we needed someone in their area. It will be intresting in how they can influence the outcome of the Germanic States. They start the game in KRA (which I am going to dub Krakow)

Income

Each province gives you $5, You may bank only $100 at a time. Your capital gives you $15 including the usual $5. If you have captured someone elses capital it still only gives you $5. When writing your orders you must announce you are banking this amount of money. If you dso not that money is lost to you

Movement
You may only move one province a turn. However if you wish you may force march some armies, costing $5 and forfeiting their rights to combat that turn.

Units will only fight in one combat a turn. Units may not engage on the same turn they are trained up. However they may capture neutral territory.

Units

Infantary good defence / moderate attack when supported by cannons $3 They cannot run from a battle and will be captured if the battle is abandoned and they still live. The captor can choose to execute the captives or ransom them back to the player they caputred them back from. If ransomed the Infantry keeps their wepons and is returned to their homeland capital.

Cavlary good attack/ bad defense $5 They can retreat. When in battle there is a chance that they lose their horses. If this happens then they will be considerd as Infantry only after that battle.

Cannons bombard support infantary. Must be supported by other units. Danger of Capture. $10 If captured the captor may use the cannons

Any province may train units from their population Cannons may only be built in capital cities. YOU MAY ONLY HAVE 10 UNITS IN A PROVINCE AT ANY ONE TIME.

Capitals

IF YOUR CAPITAL IS LOST YOU ARE OUT OF THE GAME UNLESS YOU OCCUPY ANOTHER'S CAPITAL. No exceptions However for compensation for this you do receive defensive bonuses for defending your capital, and your capital only.

The capital cannot be moved unless you lose your original and have someone elses. If you are forced out of the game due to capital loss, all remaining provinces revert back to neutral state.

Neutrals

The Neutrals are not defended and they are there for the taking. However Neutrals created due to the loss of a capital continue to retain their troops and wil fight to maintain their newly found independence.

The Game will not start unti all postions are filled. The game will be updated once every two days at tyhe least at 0500H GMT. If you miss out with your orders I will not follow you up, as in RL many German princes were asleep at the poltical wheel when this occured.

Cool,that's the first NES my home county is in (I live very close to Lueneburg in LUE),so there I'll make my imperial holidays,lol.
