Black Ice on Hills

I've had this issue even with the demo. I have a 512 9800GT with the latest drivers from the Nvidia site. I'm running this on DX10. I've tried changing the graphics settings, went from fullscreen to windowed, changed the resolution, tried reloading my save, sadly it still stays black as if the ice texture did not load up properly. Not really a game breaker but still want to get it fixed. I've attached a screenshot of the black ice. Any ideas on what is causing this?

PS: I've also tried switching to DX9 mode and I didn't get the black ice but I got something much more irritating in DX9, the blood splat on multiple tiles which, in my opinion is worse than the black ice.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

I still have this issue in v. 1.0.1.217 (GeForce GTX 275), even after updating to the latest drivers (266.58). DX9 gives me "red blobs" and DX10/11 produces "black ice" blending on hills. This is a pretty annoying graphical issue when (almost) everything else looks so great!

Upload a save and I'll check it out on my system, thanks.

Here's the save file I used to test different graphics settings. There should be a warrior at the north. Next to the warrior is a tundra hill at the coast. This particular hill has a red blob in DX9 and "black ice" in DX10/11.

Let me know if you need more information :)

Edit: I have the Steam Deluxe version, so some DLC content may be embedded in the save file.

Confirmed, I get the same thing. red blob in dx9 and black ice in dx10/11.

Thanks for the save

Still not fixed in v. 1.0.1.275 (266.58 driver version).
Still not fixed in v. 1.0.1.332 (275.33 driver version). :(
Still not fixed in v. 1.0.1.674 (Gods & Kings).

I get the impression that this particular issue won't ever be fixed, hence this will be my last update on this bug (unless it does get fixed).
