IT IS 1937, AND EUROPE IS ONLY TWO YEARS AWAY FROM A CATASTROPHIC WAR.

A war in nations fall, heroes are made, villians die and freedom is crushed.

A war which will leave Europe divided, and many Eastern nations ruled with an iron fist from Moscow.

A war which will kill millions of soldiers, millions of civilians and destroy millions of homes.

A war in which the hatred of one nation leads them to try to eradicate an entire race of people.

A war in which countries fight for their lives, and will never surrender.

A war which will be won with nuclear weapons, and the repercussions of which will still be felt a hundred years later.

A war in which men give up their today for other's tomorrow.

But it is 1937. There is still time to stop that war, to prevent the destruction of Europe - whether it be by military might, economic muscle or nuclear weapons.

If someone had moved quickly to defeat Germany when they were still weak, the Second World War could have been ended before it begun.

But as the new leaders come to power to attempt to stop this war, will they side the same way they did in history?

Or will they align themselves differently - perhaps causing a whole new balance of power, and causing a different Cold War, or even not one at all?

But they must remember one thing about conflict:

You can never win a war.

You just survive it.

Welcome to the Never Ending Story 2, the sequel to the first story based NES!

There are a few rules for reality's sake, but the rest is pure story.

EVER NATION GETS 3 CREDITS PER TURN.

To upgrade the amount of money you get, you can invest 5 credits in your economy, which increases your income by one.

Military

A division is 10,000 men(a regiment being 1,000). A squadron is 1,000 planes(a wing being 100). A carrier comes with a wing of aircraft already onboard, usually 60% fighters and 40% bombers.

You can buy an infantry division(good in defence, poor in attack) for 1 credit, a mechanised infantry division(okay in defence and attack) for 2 credits and an armour(tank) division(good in attack, poor in defence) for 3 credits.

You can buy a fighter squadron(good in defence, poor in attack) for 2 credits, and a bomber squadron(poor in defence, good in attack) for 3 credits.

You can buy a carrier(air cover for fleet, so provides early warning and therefore a bonus) for 3 credits, a battleship(good in attack, okay in defence) for 3 credits, a submarine(good in attack, poor in defence) for 2 credits, and a destroyer(good in defence, poor in attack) or 5 frigates(poor in attack, okay in defence) for 1 credit.

As the years progress, you will be able to begin atomic research, but that is not for a long time yet.

ATTACKS MUST BE PMED TO ME! I will then resolve them either when both players involved have orders in, or at the end of the turn.

Finally, please copy and paste your nation's profile to the Nations thread. You can of course name units etc. Orders will be posted here, while you should keep the profile in the Nations thread updated.

Orders for a turn aren't mandatory - you can just bank the money. But remember you get no warning of attacks!

Gains made by attacks are usually slow(even Hitler's blitzkrieg took a few weeks lol), so don't worry, you will have time to retaliate.

Umm, can't think of anything else to say, other than I will be relying on you and other players to check your orders, since I won't have too much time to look at them due to running the UKNES8(which takes priority I'm afraid), so any questions just ask lol.

Starting Amounts (YOU ONLY GET THIS AMOUNT FIRST TURN, ALL OTHER TURNS YOU GET THE NORMAL 3 GOLD UNLESS YOU UPGRADE)

Well with the lack of interest(I think there are way too many NESs going already anyway), I'm closing this NES before it's even begun.
