1.0.0.62: Incorrect "attack" animation while Mobile Sam attacks cities

I don't know if Mobile SAMs should be able to attack a city in the first place. But when they do, you don't get animation of the Mobile sam firing anything. Just a lot of rockets from the city firing at the SAM (more than usual, perhaps to compensate?).

Tried loading this twice. Should give an active mobile sam that is about to attack Sparta.

Thanks. First question is whether Mobile SAMs should be able to attack cities. After all, SAM means Surface-to-Air Missile. I think they can attack non-air units and cities. The description in the manual states that they receive a +100% combat bonus against aircraft and helicopters. There wouldn't be a reason to grant such a bonus unless they could attack non-air targets.

Turning to your save file, it looks to me as if the combat animation depicts the missiles that are fired from the SAM, but going in the wrong direction! Refer to this screenshot in our gallery. The current graphic for the Mobile SAM is different, but the combat graphic looks the same as in your save. We'll call this a bug. Have you ever observed other Mobile SAM combat? If so, does the combat animation go in the right direction?

I don't think I've used vs other units. But there's another enemy unit on the same island, so I can test that. I'll test later today if necessary,
 
Haven't got around testing SAM vs other units, but I managed to get attacked. And that was a fight without any missiles from the mobile sam.
