Okay, I will probably go insane doing this, but it sounds fun.

Here's the rules: (an imaginary cookie to the person who guesses what this is based on)

-Every unit is up for grabs to be chosen by the first forum goer to claim him. No more than one claim per forum goer per session. He will be named (yay for the mod that allowed this!) according to that forum person's desires, and the forumer will be able to give him an amusing trait that I must follow.

Example: Forum guy chooses to name the first warrior "bob" and he must go around killing everything in sight till he dies.
Example: Forum guy chooses to name the first settler "janet" and she must only settle in a desert.

-Every city gets a mayor, also up for grabs, who can rename the city any way he likes, and give it some personality I must follow

Example: Forum guy claims mayor of capital, calls it UglyTown, and all tiles within it's radius must be trading posts.

-Every 15 turns, starting with the first post, a new noble appears to make demands on the empire as a whole.

Example: Noble#1 is claimed and the forum guy proclaims books are stupid and no libraries will ever be built.

Unclaimed things in between each 15 turn session will temporarily be under my full control, and any time one personality contradicts another I can choose which one to follow. SEVERE personalities (the first mayor deciding no settlers can be built) can be ignored, but only really severe ones.

Settings are france/emperor/pangea and here's the first turn screenshot:

CURRENT SESSION:

Not bothering to update front post on this. Go to my last screenshotted post every time.

To claims something, just make a post, give the thing a name, and say what you want it to do.

I claim the Noble! His name is Kristian von Boe-undGroenseth! He is a flower loving Culture Vulture and wants you to build a garden in every possible city!

Thanks, happy to be here! :-) So I have no internet yet so no CiV yet... What exactly does a Noble do? Are they like Great Persons?

I claim the warrior :D

Like a really frenchy he is a coward and tries to avoid every fight he can.
His name: Les Bleus

Nobles I just made up ;) Alright, first session time in one sec.

History!

Well I settle at the nearest threeway, as it will let me at least expand to wheat and then gold quickly, since I'm france. The warrior goes exploring, meets a barb camp and quickly goes the other way. He upgrades via hut to a spearman :D I make it a note to avoid theology like the plague so I can safely tell our noble "gardens don't exist yet sire". I queue up a worker after the scout and continue working on it after hitting 2 population, as it's almost done anyways due to their being no grasslands :(

We meet FIVE civs in our 15 turn session, so we're going to be seeing war pretty quickly.

Edit: Okay the next screenshot!

Claims:

Scout needed!
Mayor of Paris (rename it what you want :)) needed! (claimed! Don't take too long with the name and personality tho ;))

Alright, well as soon as I finish this QuickSort assignment, I'm doing the next session. I'll leave paris as fully mine temporarily if I don't get word from Sparthage.

Adding new rule: Dibs only count for half an hour, so only dibs if you want it but can't think of what you want it to do yet. After that, I'm just going to go ahead, and you'll have to wait for the next session for your thing to do what you want it to do.

Okay, redibs. Make Paris produce as many wonders as possible. When not building wonders, it must build ONLY militaristic buildings and units (any). (In short, no culture, economy, or production buildings)

Okay, next session! Well I get my worker built, who mines some gold and sells it. I build a settler, and use my money to buy another settler. Two more towns, orleans and lyons. I decide to build another warrior, as the blues... well no offense but he won't be the greatest barbarian defense. Our scout scouts the coast, and runs into a chokepoint with a barbarian. Bleagh. He decides to around the mountains to get around.

State of the game:

Claims:
-Lyons needs a mayor (claimed)
-Orleans needs a mayor
-A worker needs to be claimed (claimed)
- A noble needs to be claimed

Edit: shoot, well paris will make wonders now ;) I usually play too high a difficulty for wonders, I wonder if I can nab stonehenge on emperor...

I'll take the worker, his name shall be "Sally the Sissy" (yes his  ), and he is afraid of the dark . As such will not enter forests or construct mines, he'd rather build three roads around a forest instead of one through it if he has to.

very funny idea for a game, and by the way I also read your France and Greek OCC stories, very nice job :goodjob:

hah. well looks like I'm not getting stonehenge, need to chop forests *cry*. Sparthage, can I skip a wonder and build military if I don't have a chance?

Btw, you guys can claim more than one person, just not more than one in each session.

I require that you make an attempt, sorry (You can finish the worker though). Also, rename Paris to Sparthage ;).

Really, okay then...
I place dibs on Lyons as well. Lyons must be renamed to Lions. Lyons must produce every culture building as soon as one is available. You may however, complete a current project if one is discovered mid-construction. Other than that, you have free reign over Lions.

Really, okay then...

It's just to get it moving a long. I don't have quite the patience for month long games ;) And doing the math, there's gonna be like 50 citizens at least. When I take breaks (I'll mention it) I'd prefer people who have a citizen not claim another, but when I'm active (like now) go ahead.

I claim the noble, I call him Rich Uncle Pennybags, and that spare nothing for profit! Build markets, banks, stocks, and mints in every city possible, build economic wonders, have Merchant Specalists, claim as much oil as possible (when the time comes) and build wells on them, and expore the Comm. SP. Order should be avoided like the plauge, and he will be dissapoint (sic) if we hit the red.

EDIT: How come Sparthage is called Paris? Don't you know how to rename cities? On the city screen, go to the name, and there will be a small "Edit" button. Click it, and you can rename it.

Awesome, just need mayor of orleans now and I can get rolling :) (lol, the monopoly man?)

Picky Picky, I'm not going to rescreenshot every time someone makes a change ;) He made that post after I did that session.

Edit: bah, was hoping to get one more session in tonight, if someone could proclaim themselves mayor of orleans it'd be nice ;)
