i wanted to know how, in the ptw editor, you placed cities and units on the map. i can see the icons greyed out in the toolbar, but can't make them useable. how do you do that?
help...

On the menu ,click "Map", Set Active Player(bottom of list), and choose a country or a player etc. The tools have been activated. Click on the city Icon, select the size and click on the map to place a city(the active civilizations capital city). Right Click on the new city, select properties and 'poof' you can select tile and city properties: add units, improvements etc. Same for the units icon.

You wouldn't happen to know how to anything about using downloaded units would ya?

not really, but i remember dowloading a how to about it somwhere here, it was helpful

actually the one i found is old and i don't belive works for ptw, so if you find one that does, let me know
