Dunno if someone has already discovered this trick...
-- Activate Debug-Panel mode; with possibly (~) tilde or (') apostrophe on your respective keyboards.
-- Then, on the numpad; hit Left(4) or Right(6) arrows and you'll free-rotate the camera angles by 5-10o degree steps.
It looks as though this is also a "permanent" or "temporary" Lock to the interface (cursor) that must be reset to default manually afterward should you want to.
Kinda strange to stare at differently oriented Hexes (X or Y) and Observe_Zoom_Inspect any Units_Cities_Tiles in some full panoramic views on demand!
