The year is 4000BC and you as the immortal ruler of your nation have been entrusted with its safe keeping. You and you alon will be able to either make your nation rise to greatness or have it fail. You will need to use religious leaders, military, science, economics and culture to strive for excellence.

It has been said that war is not often the desirable route. However you as ruler will have to know when and how to strike, and when to be your enemies best friend. It is a brave new world out there. It is yours for the taking, but are you man enough for it, or will the man you hate the most be crowned Ruler of Sheep's world.

Support
A tribe will only be able to support what is reasonable to their circumstances, meaning that a small nation with the wealth and power the equivalent of modern day Turkey will not be able to hold the same armed forces as a nation with the wealth and power of a modern day USA. It will be determined by an assessment of what is reasonable in the circumstances.

Conducting War
We would prefer to have a formal declaration of war before an invasion, its just good manners.
Heres how we will do battles and their out come.
Each one unit of an armed forces has a value of one for their attack and defense. Each tech level above stone age adds one to their attack and defense. And each size level also adds one.
For example, Anarchia invades Trindia. Anarchia has a medium bronze age army and Trindia has a large stone age army. That would mean Anarchia has a value of 4 for their attack and 4 for their defense, because one size level equals one, so tiny=1, small=2, medium=3, and the tech level adds one, so medium stone army=3 and bronze age tech=1, add both together=4. And Trindia also has 4 attack and 4 defense, because although their army is stone ages it is one size level bigger giving it the same value as the Medium bronze army.
This would result in a stalemate. In such cases I will roll a 6 sided dice, if 1-3 is rolled then the aggressor, ie Anarchia, wins, if 4-6 is rolled then the defender wins.
If you really must be underhanded and sneaky and make a total surprise attack then PM me.

Religions
All nations begin with primitive religious ideologies. Through time religions, some familiar some not will spread. These relgions will choose a nation that is its leader. The people will find it very hard to fight those of the same religion but easy to fight those of a diffrent one. The relgion leader nation can change. The religion leader nation can do two of the following each turn.

A Relgious Pilgrimage: The Relgious leader travels to anther nation of the same relgion. The people in this nation often ask for an alliance soon afterwards, and it is best they aren't ignored.
Relgious Subterfuge: The leader send out the relgious people to try and convert a neighbouring nation to the true way of thinking.
Crusade: All nations of the same relgion are required to declare war on the third party

NB It will not be for a while that ships will be able to traverse the wide oceans. For the time being til the required age is discovered, the only way between Eurasia and America will be via Greenland. The only way from Europe to Asia will be around Africa. Cesaer of the Romans has arisen to lead his people in a Despotism.

Looking over the map room of Rome, Cesaer decided to send men to expand the Roman empire into Mar and Bor. 2/3 of the army is to help gaurd these efforts and help the people bulid their towns and farms.
The last 1/3 would be constucting a great stone highway up the spine of Italy. Even with it being expected to take many years to bulid. The benifit to trade and the ecomnoy would be a long felt benifit.

yes they have contact. Once you share a border you have contact. However if you don't you wont get it until Triemes.
