I installed BUG with no problem.

I followed the instructions for installing BULL and the CvGameCoreDLL.dll file is causing the following error:

error1.jpg

This goes away when I put back the old CvGameCoreDLL.dll and I can run the game fine.

Here is where I installed the new CvGameCoreDLL.dll file:

error2.jpg

If anyone has a clue whats wrong I'd appreciate the help.

I'm having a similar problem. I followed the Readme directions (I think..) in copying and pasting files as appropriate - the new .dll to the "assets" folder in my Program Files directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Assets), and the various asset files to the "custom assets" folder in the My Documents directory (C:\Users\me\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CustomAssets). Now, when I go to run BTS, it fails and I get the following errors:

C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Local\Temp\WER8190.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Local\Temp\WER98B9.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Local\Temp\WER9918.tmp.mdmp

Help!!!

Just wanted to add I definitely have the latest patch, I just finished downloading it about an hour ago : )

Please follow the instructions on the Troubleshooting page linked in my sig and post the results here. Hopefully we can get you going again.

Well I feel like a total idiot, and after re-reading AZ's 2nd post, it finally hit me to actually check that the patch that I thought I downloaded actually installed correctly - nope, it sure didn't! I downloaded the 3.19 patch off here, ran as admin, installed, and now BULL works flawlessly. D'oh! I think the guy in the other post (Mantic0re) probably had the exact same problem.

I"m curious where can you find Bull to download? I couldn't get any links.

Bug just doesn' work for me on win7 at the moment, so I'd like to try the other package.

BULL is here(I assume) here
That is correct. That is the current official release (1.2).

Just as a point of interest, while BAT contains BULL 1.3, you can't take BAT's DLL file and use it on it's own, a la BULL 1.3. The BAT DLL is made especially for BAT.

I had someone asking that in PM, so I thought that I would remind everyone here, since we're yakking about it.
