As far as I can see eleven games are affected by Deztro's unfortunate 'leaving the building'.

I sure hope he returns, but I reckon that won't be the case..

So replacement players are needed, otherwise almost every game will suffer..

Who is willing to step up and take on one or more games?

The games are:

1) Stuck in the Middle

2) Huge Random

3) Upsilon http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=340327 Przit is taking over.
Upsilon was more sedate but unpredictable, anywhere between one move every three days , to three turns per day.

4) Three's a crowd

5) Zorzak 5th

6) Arcadia http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=356016 Calanthian will take over

7) Veni, vidi, vici

8) Eurozone PBEM, 3600 BC, hemispheres map, 2 times 4 players, not much happened yet, Frasco will take over

9) The Next Empire - ParadigmShifter will be replacing...

10) Flev's Replacement http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=406095,
Flev is more a turn every two days, plus or minus one or two. Cipcoz will take over.

11) Phi....Always War Archipelago http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=411227
Phi was a minimum turn per day, often 2, and occasionally more. Chasbolt will take over.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR GAME HAS STALLED?

If your game is stalling just contact someone in another game that is also stalling and both take deztro's position in the other's game

> then 2 games at once are resolved..

It's like a swingers party here.

if you are trying or think you can control what another player does on his turn, you are taking this game way to seriously. the fact of the matter is deztro is a reliable player. though i have only been playing pbem about a year. i know that the benefits of having a reliable player should out weigh any effects of that or any other player reloading a turn and doing it over. i vote to keep deztro in any form.

Dick,

I sure wasn't trying that. And your sentiments are the same as mine. I very much like to see Deztro return..

I was trying to establish what goes and what doesn't go.

You can find the sad story here..

My first post was:

Having lost quite a stack at incredible odds (at a hill top, behind a river) my opponent clearly admits that he has replayed / reloaded.
(I won't mention his name). Furthermore he tells me that all experienced players do this and that it is allowed.

While I had the clear impression that it wasn't >
so in fact so far I have been fighting with my hands behind my back.

This is why I ask:

IS REPLAYING / RELOADING ALLOWED IN A PBEM?
